Always have water and sunscreen close by. Naples Florida weather in the summer is sunny and 90 degrees, and we can tell you first hand, sunburn is no fun! Thankfully, we always have water and sunscreen available at the hotel and are only 2 blocks from a Publix Super Market for additional supplies and groceries.
Don't Go Home Without
A half mile from the hotel, the Waterside Shops are definitely worth a visit, even if just to window shop and enjoy the outdoors. Waterside Shops is an open-air shopping center with lush landscaping and cool water features paired with every high-end shop you can think of including Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Gucci, Lululemon and Tiffany and Co. Hey, you’re on vacation, right?
We recommend taking every opportunity you get to watch the sun set at Naples Pier. The 1,000 foot long pier is 5.5 miles from our hotel in Naples Florida and is a great spot to take photos of and enjoy a Naples sunset. See dolphins, stingray and manatee from the end of the pier and stop by the concessions for pizza. Parking meters are available.
Clam Pass Beach Park is under a mile from our hotel and has white sand and calm water. Parking is easy with the on-site pay lot. From the parking lot, walk or take the tram down the mangrove lined boardwalk to the beach. Take our beach chairs and umbrellas for the day and keep your eyes peeled for shells and sand dollars. Facilities at Clam Pass include a picnic area, concessions and restrooms.
