Beautiful, multicultural and one-of-a-kind, Singapore has so much to offer business and leisure travellers it's hard to know where to start. From spotless fashionable Orchard Park to suburban antique shops, to dozens of exquisite city parks, a stay in Singapore is one you'll never forget.
The Botanic Gardens are a must-see. With a boardwalk that meanders through virgin rainforest and a collection of 1,000 orchids, you'll encounter joggers, walkers and tai-chi experts as you explore this city-bound paradise.
Chinatown is another essential. Head out of your Singapore hotel and explore by foot, or, for an authentic step back in time, visit the Chinatown Heritage Centre for faithful recreations of Singaporean history.
Food is an obsession in Singapore. You won't struggle to find incredible Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese, Thai, Italian and French restaurants. A stylish hotel with compact rooms
By Nasrun
No real complaints about our stay except that there was noise from the lifts just across the corridor from the room which disturbed me one morning. A stylish hotel with compact rooms. Quite a view [More] towards Marina Bay but the windows needed cleaning on the outside. The ladies (staff) at breakfast were very nice and polite. Hassle free checking in and out. [Less]
Great Location, so-so room
By crow0016
I usually stay at another hotel in the area, but it was fully booked for the nights that I required. I decided to try this Holiday Inn Express since I am a regular guest at this brand in North [More] America. I felt the room was extremely small for the cost. The room was modern, but it was a shoebox. The hallways to the room were also unusually small for this price range as well. The hallways are outdoor style corridors often clogged with house keeping trolleys or even one other person will force you to turn sideways. It's unlikely I'd stay at this hotel again simply due to the size. It's designed like a budget boutique hotel with a 3-4 star cost. Again....I'm usually very happy with the IHG brands, but this hotel I felt was oversold. [Less]

Excellent Service
By HKReporter
The Hotel Reservation Department provided us excellent service in arrangement of connecting rooms and delay check-out. The rooms were clean and the restaurants provided very good food. The club [More] lounge also provided us very good service. The workers were courteous and knowledgeable. [Less]

Memorable stay
By Chyneez
I am writing as an extremely happy guest at your hotel. My husband and I stayed at Intercontinental between 21st to 23rd May for a weekend retreat. We opted for the Club access and we have to say [More] that the club services at Intercontinental Singapore were by far the best club experience we ever had and the outstanding service made our stay even more memorable. We will like to extend our warmest thanks and appreciation to the Club Manager, Lucinda, and the entire team for the wonderful birthday cake surprise, as well as a special mention to Fiona, Vivian, Shahidah, Ain and Wilson for the birthday messages. We really enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Singapore. Thank you again for such a memorable experience. [Less]
Perfect Stay
By virtualaris
The hotel staffs either on the Front Desk, Restaurant, Lounge, Housekeeping; all of them provide excellent services! Just what you expect from Intercontinental as Ambassador member. The hotel [More] location is excellent, centrally located on Bugis Junction. The only minor disappointment is just the buffet breakfast is lack of vegetarian and Malay food. Hopefully it would be improved, considering that Singapore is multi-cultural destinations and Malay food also part of Singaporean history. Other than that, everything is excellent. [Less]
Nice hotel. Club lounge and checkin staff are good.
By Rev Ichan
- Check-in counter staff are very professional and good. Though I mistakenly booked twin room, the staff was very kind to make some arrangement to give me a king room. Genuinely nice and she try to [More] engaged us with small chitchat. - Club lounge staff are very friendly and attentive. They serve drinks/foods with a smile. - Room is ok. It has all things we needed. Comfortable bed and pillows. - I left a note (1 I put n bed and the other I put in the working desk) to the room-cleaner staff to provide us 2 sets of toiletries when they clean my room. But it seems (to me) that the staff conveniently ignore my request as still he/she only provide 1 set. Maybe it's a hotel policy, but I am hoping the staff could have informed/written in the note that the could not provide my request. It is a very minor/negligible things to ruin my pleasant stay in the hotel. [Less]
