Be our guest at Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Cambridge, home of Cambridge University and other renowned colleges, and before long you'll be exploring the city's stunning university architecture or sipping tea in a bustling, student-filled cafe.
Lose yourself in the celestial sounds of the King's College choir in the landmark King's College Chapel. Nineteen-year-old Henry VI laid the chapel's first stone in 1441, but it wasn't until the reign of Henry VIII more than 100 years later that the building was finally completed. Our Cambridge hotels are close to the city center, where you can browse the world-class art collection inside the Fitzwilliam Museum, including masterworks by Titian and van Dyck and ancient Roman and Greek artifacts. Slow down the pace and rent a punt (flat-bottomed boat) at Magdalene Bridge, not far from our hotels in Cambridge. You can cruise the quiet waters of the River Cam and admire the city's universities from a different perspective as you pass under landmark bridges. Don't miss the charmingly chaotic Mathematical Bridge behind Queen's College.
Join the student population around bustling Benet Street where pubs come alive each evening and the narrow streets are filled with good-natured chatter. Do as the students do and grab a book from one of the city's plentiful secondhand bookshops for a leisurely cafe read. A short bus ride from our Cambridge hotels takes you to waterside gastro-pubs along 'The Backs' of the River Cam. On sunny days, the tree-lined riverbank is a popular hangout and a great spot to enjoy alfresco dining or picnicking by the water's edge.

Conienient for Cambridge
The Cambridge - Duxford hotel is so convenient for Cambridge and only a couple of miles from M11 junction 10. I was worried that the trains may keep us awake at night but the only sound in our room[More] at the front of the hotel was a low rumble as the trains passed.
Whittlesford Parkway station is only 100m away and it's about 10 minutes into Cambridge station and about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Cambridge.
The hotel is clean and quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. I'll be back.[Less]
Excellent bed and shower
By Earl of Mount Edgecumbe
Despite the nearness of a busy road and being next to a fairly busy railway station it was an enjoyable visit. The bed was excellent and the bathroom facilities first class.
Believe the cooked food[More] could have been hotter and the toaster too small to fit the bread provided although we have no concerns on the quality of bread, cereals etc.[Less]
very good rooms and excellent staff, I work nights so the staff put me in a quiet room, the staff at the reception are a credit to your company I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and[More] family.
Gets the job done
Has he basics, nothing too fancy, but gets the job done.
Workout room is small
They have pillow options (soft, firm) so let them know what you prefer
Bathroom flow gets a little wet when you shower,[More] but they are newly updated![Less]
Great front desk service & food
Stayed here for a quite a few nights during Jan 16 .On arrival front desk excellent service and thus carried on through out my stay .The rooms are clean & bright with all the usual facilities a[More] holiday inn provides .

Fantastic Customer Service at Check-In
Have stayed a couple times at the Cambridge Holiday Inn and have always found staff here to be really polite and helpful. The receptionist kindly let me into our room early so I could do some work in[More] comfort. Our dinner in the Junction Restaurant that evening was also very nice.
I will definitely use this Holiday Inn when visiting Cambridge again.[Less]
Great family stay
We had a really good family break. We loved the swimming pool and the 'kids eat for free' deal is brilliant[Less]
Good but could be better
Disappointed that Executive rooms were a very long walk and upstairs - no lift at this property.
Food in the bar seemed overpriced compared to the other HI's I stay in. Perhaps everyone coming to[More] Cambridge is on expense accounts.
Otherwise a good stay.[Less]
