I have to say that regularly have to visit Dublin due to work, and as such frequently stay in the Blanchardstown Crowne plaza. So i want to share the experience i had in my last stay. Essentially i
was so lucky to get one of the very nice rooms in the 9th floor , which seemed perfect at first however but the later the night got them more i could hear the traffic coming form the nearby highway. I have to add here that there was an actual note on the nightstand that hinted that this room is better suited for people who are okay with the "sounds of the city" plus a [package of earplugs.
I am what you would call a light sleeper, so i spent most of the night checking the window (maybe i closed in wrongly etc.) and trying to fall asleep in which i didn't really succeed.
So in the morning i asked if i could have another room for the next night and the staff was very helpful, offering me a new room and also moving my luggage right into it.
And to top all that when i came back from a long workday into my new, very quite room i also found a personal note from the hotel manager plus a 3 course dinner voucher and drink coupons , that basically guaranteed a good nights sleep.
That is what call walking the extra mile, so thanks again to the whole stuff making this a great stay and I am looking forward to my next visit. [Less]
