Overall, the stay at the Crowne Plaza was good. The bathroom was short a couple of towels but the Front Desk took care of that once we let them know. You'd like to not have to do that but it's not that big of a deal. The room was good and well-equipped. The big problem came when it was time to check out. Because we were going on a cruise vacation, we had a ton of luggage. We called to have a bellman help us get out luggage down to the Lobby and were told that it would be 15 minutes because they were all tied up. We were okay with that and said we'd wait. Well, we waited, and waited, and waited some more. After 20 minutes, we tried calling again - no answer. After 25 minutes, we gave up and schlepped our luggage down to the Lobby. When we checked out, we mentioned what happened. The person told us that all their staff were tied up with shuttling people to the cruise ship terminal and that is why no one came to help us. Sounds like the hotel was making their problem, my problem. I'll give them another try in the future because it is a convenient location but they are pressing their luck.

3 months. The service at the restaurant for breakfast, even if it was
complimentary, was the best in a long time.

I reserved online for two rooms with 2 people in each room. I was charged for 4 people in each room ($80 extra). I did not look over the paperwork on arrival because it was very late at night. It took a lot of arguing to get the invoice changed. They kept saying that I signed for the rate on arrival. The room was fairly nice, rather plain, but I was bothered by the floor slanting down toward the bathroom. It was unnerving, as was the old, slow elevator. You had to push the elevator buttons two or three times to get it to react.
Also, it was necessary to switch elevators to get to the parking garage which was rather inconvenient. The beds were comfortable and the shower had adequate hot water.

The people at the lobby bar specially Leticia excellent. The people at the Front desk so so to poor. The bell boys, the valet service and the shuttle service extremely poor

I went for a business convention in Long Beach. The drive was not bad at all. About 13 minutes away. Only thing that made me nervous was the large bridge we had to cross over. There is 2 very large bridges. I'm not use to it so I'm sure it doesn't bother most people to drive. The stay was awesome. There is breakfast, but not complimentary. The buffet breakfast was worth it though. Food was awesome. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very nice. It does not have a microwave or fridge so that was a downer, but overall it was a great stay!

I booked a king suite for my wedding party to get ready the day of my wedding. I booked it for two nights and also stayed with my new husband on the wedding night. We were on the 9th floor and the view was so gorgeous! The room was plenty spacious to accommodate myself, plus 8 members of my wedding party and the hair and makeup girls.
Upon check in the staff was friendly and the bell hop even recommended a few places to eat in the area. Being from the area I was aware BUT it was nice that they suggested places considering this is a hotel used by people going on cruises. My experience with the hotel was great! From reserving a block of rooms for our guests, to just helping us when needed, everything was good. I would recommend this hotel in the future.
Only one downside and its not that HUGE of a deal but I was hoping that a suite would have included a fridge. While getting ready we ordered sandwiches that we did not finish and we could not store so I had to toss them, and I really hate throwing food away :(. Aside from that though everything else was good :)

Great value for a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay with quick access to the Long Beach area.
Booking here & driving a few miles over the bridge will save you $20.00/night or more vs. the Long Beach hotels which charge for parking.
On-site dining/bar plus lots of other choices all within walking distance (some of the local restaurants will also deliver to the hotel. Check out Niko's Pizza).
I usually stay here whenever I'm in the area which is between 4 and 8 nights/month.

We stayed here before going on a Hawaiian cruise with Princess. This hotel was the best. We checked around and for what we needed, it sure was a bargain. Much to my surprise, we were given an upgrade to a suite when we arrived!
We got a beautiful suite, 2 comp breakfast buffets, free wifi, free inside valet parking, free transfers to & from our ship and great service from very nice staff. All this was just slightly more than the cost of parking at the pier alone!
Thanks for everything...we were not disappointed!
