The staff at this hotel are outstanding; we arrived quite early, but the front desk staff went out of their way to allow us to check in early so we could rest a bit. We had a minor plumbing issue,
and maintenance responded immediately and courteously. The room I was in is quite large for a standard room, with a nice view of the Olympic mountains. There's some road noise, but it was much less than one might expect for the location. The bed was very comfortable, and the room amenities well appointed. Not all rooms have sofas; the one I was in only had an armchair, which is a bit puzzling, as there was plenty of room for a small sofa. There was no issue with parking. There is only one guest elevator, and it is quite slow, but the stairs are readily accessible, well lighted, and carpeted to help keep the noise down a little.
I did not try the breakfast or the fitness center, but I did take a brief dip in the pool. Both the pool and the hot tub were a bit on the cool side for my taste, but were reasonably clean, and I got them entirely to myself. It would be nice if there was more of a changing area in the pool area.
We were there for a family funeral, and all the staff members were very accommodating and all expressed their condolences, which was appreciated. [Less]
