We were traveling to Texas and always enjoyed staying in Springfield MO but it had been a few years.
We found the Holiday Inn and enjoyed it so much that we decided that we would stay at this same
place on our return home.The first experience June 1 was wonderful. We had breakfast in the dining room, wonderful service, delicious food, everything couldn’t have been better. We were so looking forward to staying again 1 week later, June 8.
We checked in, the young woman at the desk was the same as the previous stay, very nice, very professional, very efficient. Our room was just not as nice as the previous stay, and I can’t figure why, it was a different room, but didn’t feel as comfortable. I didn’t realize that we were having problems flushing the toilet until the next morning. My son and brothers said they had experienced problems during the nigh, so much that they went the lobby to use the restroom. The morning was worse and we (4 of us) ended up using my other brothers room (next door).
I didn’t bother to say anything , we had gone to breakfast at the dining room again.im afraid that our experience was not as pleasant as the previous week. The hostess was fine, in fact she even brought some food to our table. However the waitress seemed to be put out that we were ordering off the menu and not the buffet. even the same breakfast we ordered the previous week was much lesser quality. Different cooks, different waitstaff really made a difference.
We still enjoyed our stays for the most part, and would stay again, but not without checking things first. Thank You [Less]
