Two nights stay
By D. B.
We have stayed at HIE in different areas when we travel. We have always been satisfied with the facilities and this HIE was no different. The room and facilities were very clean. The staff was [More] friendly and helpful. It was convenient to access. Although we were near the interstate, the noise level was minimal. The bed in our room was probably the most comfortable we have had at HIE. The breakfast was what we were accustomed to at HIE. The only complaint we have is the bathroom seemed smaller than usual. Overall it was a good experience and we would recommend this hotel to others or would stay there again if we were in that area. [Less]
Good people nice location
By Redbug
We stay at the Holiday Inn Express quite a lot. Very clean and wonderful hospitality. Well located to several small towns and plenty to do and see. The town was very comfortable to visit and the [More] hotel provided all that we needed. [Less]
Great Staff
By Spongebob
The staff was very delightful and courteous. When I walked in the door for the first time I was greeted by name and I was delighted and surprised. I asked the lady how she knew my name and she [More] laughingly said, "You are the last one to check in today!" She was energetic and very nice to talk to as I checked in. All of the staff was great. I only noticed one or two things that, if they were changed, the stay would have been flawless. First the parking was tight - there was enough, but barely enough and it was not clear where the parking for one hotel stopped and the other began - up near the front. There were some big pots by the front door that were empty and bare looking - just simply move them if they are not going to be planted. I would have liked a better sausage at breakfast and I would have scrambled eggs every day even if I offered an omlette. Other than that - excellent! [Less]

All in all, l felt safe which is most important. The cleanliness could have been better. Not used to paying for parking as IHG member. No refrigerators in rooms and l need for my medication. [Less]
Amazing staff and very friendly

The hotel rooms were wonderful and the beds very comfortable, but the thing that sets the hotel apart from the others is the staff. All were very friendly and very willing to help make the stay [More] better. Great customer service! [Less]

Good value, great location
By pbk64
Overall very satisfied with our stay. We had adjoining room with our grown children. Beds were comfortable and I really liked the variety of pillow choices available. Most hotels have super soft down [More] pillows and no options for firmer support. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked really well. The bathroom showers could have been a bit cleaner though--especially the grout in the tile (looked like some Tilex would be a good idea). And the bathroom vanity is raised, which usually is good, but they are a bit too high-- I am 5'4"and had to stand on my toes to wash my face. Something that would be nice to be taller is the toilet (def NOT comfort height). Front desk gal that greeted us was very professional and thorough, and quick. Staff was very friendly. [Less]

The bells...the bells!
By Downward95
We stayed here during graduation at UGA - The "freedom bell" went off, non-stop, pretty much out entire stay. You could hear it clearly inside our room. It was annoying, but it's hard to get mad at [More] the kids - need to put in better, noise-cancelling, windows. The staff was amazing! The food seemed kind of gross. The buffets were attended to, but not a lot of variety. Would like to have a non-buffet lunch option. Our room desperately needed updated. It was very clean and the staff was amazing, but it was very run down looking. [Less]
