Bed was OK
The room air con was difficult to get the right room temp and was cold on the right side of the bed.
There was no in house restaurant and the two places in the lobby were closed on Monday.
The bar[More] on the roof was the only one open and the bar tender/manager was more interested in why he was short on supplies from a party the previous night and serving his girl friend and doing shots with friends than checking on me and my wife.[Less]
Close to Downtown/River distric
Nice stay for a business trip. I usually do not stay in this part of Fort Myers, so it was nice to be so close to downtown and the nightlife.[Less]

Pleasantly pleased !
I was pleasantly pleased with my stay at Candlewood suites in Fort Myers. I first checked the app for hotels tonight and was quoted a price higher than I actually received when I called the hotel on[More] the phone. I was greeted by very polite front desk personnel and was very surprised how nice the room was for the price that I was charged. The suite was extremely clean and had everything I would need to stay for a longer period. My stay was only for one night so I was not able to take advantage of the amenities that this suite had to offer. When it was time for bed I was extremely surprised at the quality of the bedding and the bed itself the sheets were white high quality and very very comfortable. When traveling in the future I would not hesitate to stay at Candlewood suites again.[Less]
Staff was very friendly and efficient.

Closing on a house
My family had to stay over 30 days to relocate, and purchase a home. We felt very relaxed, and didn't feel bothered, when we wanted privacy. Great channels to watch, and comfortable beds![Less]
