Very nice hotel that met my needs. I look forward to my next visit!
Hotel- Crowne Plaza- AMS Airport (Hoofddorp)

Overall: Above Average/Very good. This hotel met my expectations, save for a minor problem with the club
Accommodations- Excellent. The club room was well appointed and met all standards for the brand.
IHG Rewards Club Recognition-Met expectations. As a Spire Elite member, my room was upgraded to the club floor, and club lounge access was provided.
Staff-Excellent. The front desk staff is friendly & engaging, and they are more than willing to help guests achieve their goals. Rico, in the club lounge breakfast, deserves special kudos for his attention to detail and willingness to engage with guests, as does Priscilla, one of your front desk duty managers.
Housekeeping-Very good. The room and bathroom were clean, but toiletries and soap were inadequate in supply, as were Nespresso and coffee supplies. Housekeeping was not kept well informed of my change in stay duration, and they barged in on me, while I was in the shower; better communication between departments is recommended.
Pool/Gym- not evaluated
Breakfast/Meal Options-Restaurant not evaluated. Evening appetizers and breakfast items were available, for the most part, during the hours provided to guests at their check in.
Computer/Printer/WiFi-WiFi was fairly reliable throughout the hotel, but streaming was problematic. Increased speed and reliability are recommended, even if only as a premium offering.
Property Appearance- Excellent
Exterior- The exterior is clean and well-manicured. Hotel staff routinely walked the property and were seen sweeping up cigarette butts and other trash.
Interior- The lobby is well maintained, as is the carpet throughout the hotel. Water is available at the front desk, but it would likely serve the hotel better to keep it out away from the business of the front desk.
Other- On my second night, the club lounge had no hot food present for guests for more than 75 minutes. Guests, some of whom paid for the access to the service, streamed in and out dissatisfied. No kitchen staff member was tending the appetizer offerings, leaving a very sour taste in some guests’ mouths. Before leaving the hotel, Jan, the duty manager was made aware of the situation.
