Featured Glasgow Hotels

Get to know the city like a true Scotsman when you stay at one of our Glasgow hotels near the city center, theatre district, or airport.
Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city, and one of the largest in the U.K. Its bustling metropolitan center is located on the River Clyde and is an important seaport.
From an early Christian site of the 6th century to a wealthy and influential bishopric, Glaswegians saw their city grow in prestige and power through its international trade of commodities like linen. Sparked by the Scottish Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution, Glasgow’s fortunes exploded on the world scene, with active trade in almost every sector and a vibrant shipbuilding economy. Today, the city combines up-to-the-moment culture with stately architecture and a true sense of fun.
The modern shape of the Clyde Arc Bridge is unmistakable in Glasgow’s skyline, while the City Chambers building dominates its own section of the city with Victorian stateliness. Medieval Glasgow Cathedral and Merchant City provide excellent destinations for sightseeing and entertainment. The Merchant City rewards pedestrians with countless pubs and restaurants, and its central location near the riverside and Glasgow Green means that you can continue to enjoy Glasgow’s unique sites after your break.
It’s easy to get to know Glasgow’s range of museums and cultural opportunities - nearly all of them are free! The Riverside Museum makes the most of its picturesque location on the river to showcase a collection relating to transportation, while the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum exhibits everything from artistic
masters to suits of armor. Taste the local whiskey at Glengoyne before donning your party clothes for an evening out at the Scottish Ballet or National Theatre.
Glasgow makes a serious rival for London in terms of the breadth and uniqueness of its retail. Packed with independent record stores and the Style Mile area directly in the town center, every quirky and up-to-the-minute trend is available for those in the know. Buchanan Street has all the large brands you could wish for, while remaining pedestrian-friendly, and the unique Argyll Arcade attracts with its window displays of precious jewelry and diamonds. Truly all shoppers can find something to cherish in Glasgow.
Glasgow is a wonderful destination for golfers, as its famed Loch Lomond and Gleneagles courses can attest. The city is also home to powerhouse soccer teams, as well as a devoted rugby tradition. Catching a match guarantees that you’ll feel like a local for the day.
With frequent trains to London and other U.K. destinations, as well as its international airport and efficient urban transportation system, Glasgow is an easy city to navigate.
Get to know the depth of Scotland’s past when you stay in one of our Glasgow hotels. We put our guests first, and after experiencing our hospitality, comfort, and value, you’ll be prepared to book your return visit to Glasgow in no time.

Holiday Inn Express Glasgow
By chilthekite
This hotel is well located downtown allowing quick access to downtown shops. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was very busy as a large youth dance group was [More] there. But, the staff did manage to to keep the breakfast well stocked and the tables clean. Overall, i would recommend this hotel. Great stay
By Rimsky
This hotel was in a good location. The staff were very professional. The fire alarm went off early one morning and the staff dealt with it quickly and efficiently (this does not always happen in [More] other hotels I have stayed at). There was one young lady who worked on reception and tidied away at breakfast, she was so friendly and full of energy no matter what time of day we met her. All of the staff knew us and acknowledged us. [Less]

Stirling Holiday Inn Express
By Jofrom wy
Had a nice break in Stirling in the Holiday Inn Express. We were given a decent room with a Kingsize bed and views of Castle and Monument although the Holiday Inn is in a retail park on the [More] outskirts. We could walk into town centre and as weather was good, we walked everywhere. We found the air conditioning unit a bit noisy to sleep and my husband's snoring didn't help. Breakfast was good but there were no bacon and fried eggs on the menu. Also I quite like Porridge. [Less]

Excellent all round. I am alway impressed by the quality and friendliness of the staff at this hotel and without denigrating other hotels I stay at, I think this is an exemplar hotel for how they [More] receive and treat their guests [Less]

Great new breakfast
By c1947
We stay here often - it is clean, comfortable, good value, and great location. The rooms are small but fine, and there is ample place to put things on shelves. Lots of outlets (including USB). Nice [More] pillow selection, pillow-tops on the beds, great shower. But what was really different was the excellently improved hot breakfast, being tested at a handful of HI Expresses. Real bacon and scrambled eggs and sausage and beans, fresh hand fruit and fruit compote and yogurt, nice bread for toast, flaky croissants, good juices, porridge and cereals - and all included.
