Featured Beijing Hotels

Visit any Holiday Inn® Beijing hotel and you'll find a city in transition. At times it seems that whole neighbourhoods are being rebuilt. Thankfully, though, certain things remain the same and that includes Holiday Inn's commitment to service. All our Beijing hotels boast spacious rooms and state-of-the-art facilities, including high speed internet access, gym and fitness suites and business centres.

The central location of our Beijing hotels makes them ideal for leisure travelers. Must-see sights include the Forbidden City, the seat of power during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Nearby is the huge expanse of Tiananmen Square, the world's largest public square. Also worth a visit is the Temple of Heaven, a magnificent Ming tower set in a scenic park where locals practise tai-chi, play chess and sing opera.

You're bound to want to visit the Great Wall. Badaling is the closest section, but if you've time head for Simatai or Jinshanling, about 70 miles northeast of Beijing, where the wall is better preserved. You can walk the 5.6 miles (9 kilometres) between the two stations in about four hours.

For nightlife, head to the legendary Chaoyang district, where you'll find pubs and clubs full of Chinese office workers, students and expats. Or enjoy the convivial atmosphere at the bars and restaurants at your Holiday Inn Beijing hotel, where you'll find a selection of fine restaurants and regional cuisine.

Comfortable retreat

Very comfortable hotel with very good breakfast and huge indoor pool. Conveniently located in the Northeast, between City Center and Airport. [Less]
Nice Holet
By JM Kim
I am fully satisfying this hotel. Room is very clean, comfortable and properties are very nice. Only it is very difficult to take a taxi in the morning time when I back to airport(about 8:20), I am [More] almost lost my flight. Door man said “Taxi is not coming morning time” and then “taxi will come if I pay 20 YUAN more for a tip”. [Less]
The Club Lounge Team clearly makes the difference
By Ingolf
The overall attitude of the hotel staff is what you expect from a Crowne Plaza. However, the Club Lounge team gives the extra bit to let this hotel earn 5 stars. You are addressed by your name. They [More] remember your preferences. They ask for your needs before you have asked, and if it is only such small things like a power socket bar for your laptop to be able to work in the club lounge. Just outstanding guest attention, worth an A PLUS grade. Rooms are comfortable. New gadget in the room: I found, the hotel has added USB HUB device in the bedroom which is of great value to recharge your devices overnight. [Less]
comfortable stay
By explorer99999
As usual I can enjoy the convenience and comfortable stay. Holiday Inn HaiDian offer me a complimentary upgrade in recognizing my membership status. The room has a nice interior design with [More] sufficient lighting, especially the convenisent outet that I can to charge many mobile devices at the same time. I am glad to choose Holiday Inn again and certainly left with a good expereince. [Less]
Business Trip to Beijing
By Russ123456789
Overall, a very good stay...Nice staff, comfortable room, good fitness room and equipment. Executive Club Lounge was good but could have served more food and beverage and better variety (in [More] comparison to other hotel executive lounges) Internet was good, but speed at times was variable Concierge in terms of transport was very good [Less]
Ideal for visiting Beijing to see my student son
By Angela15
I would highly recommend this hotel as a base for this area of Beijing. It's not a classic tourist area, but close to Tsinghua University when my son is studying Mandarin for this year. I visited [More] with my daughter, and found this hotel to be ideal. The price was very reasonable for 2 people including breakfast. Any extras (drinks, other meals) were definitely expensive for Beijing, and we ate else where. Lobby staff were very helpful and attentive. Good at ordering taxis (arrange in advance) and they checked that the driver knew where to go, and that we knew how to get back! The reception staff were a little limited with English for asking anything slightly out of the ordinary, but it was fine. The rooms were just right - spacious, clean and quiet. The pool was great - free and open all day. A little chilly perhaps, and beware - if you haven't got a hat, it cost a lot to buy one! We really enjoyed our stay and were sad to say goodbye to everyone, especially the breakfast staff who were almost like friends! [Less]
Hotel ok, Location just soso
By Ralthammer
The Hotel is fairly new and the staff is really good. They speak proper english at the front desk. The location isnt that good. The Name is misleading. There is still about 10km distance to the [More] airport. So its not an airport hotel. There is a free shuttle, but the frequency is very low. First one at seven, next at nine. At least once per hour should be possible. [Less]
Good visit

Good quality stay at reasonable price. Welcoming staff at reception and no language problems for English speaking customers [Less]
Great hotel semi-near PEK with a nice breakfast and dinner
By AndrewSFO
I stayed here as I was on layover for 20 hours in PEK going from America to Southeast Asia. I have stayed here before and have always thought it's a nice property. It's about a 10 minute taxi from [More] the airport. The staff's english isn't perfect but they can communicate. They're very accommodating to requests. The restaurant is really good. Their prices are very reasonable and have some yummy Chinese dishes. Whenever I stay there I try something different, and have never been disappointed. Great selection of food. Breakfast is included and is much better than most other Express properties. They have a huge selection, much more than most hotels. The hotel has laundry self service facility is nice because then I can sit in the restaurant and have a beer and do my laundry at the same time. Very nice to be able to do it right in the hotel.
