Featured Swindon Hotels

We have three Swindon hotels, comprising of a town centre hotel and two further out of town to the East and West respectively. If you're on business, you can choose between proximity to the many out of town business parks or a location close to the town centre companies. Similarly, those in Swindon for leisure can choose between relatively rural accommodation or being right in the heart of it.

If you're on a family break, entertain the kids with some high energy, action packed entertainment. Combat Splat paintballing, the Skate Warehouse, the town's Laser Quest centre and Jungle Parc should keep even the most energetic entertained.

On the other hand, for something a little more relaxing, maybe you could treat yourself to a shopping spree. You'll be spoilt for choice with venues. There's the West Swindon Shopping Centre, Orbital Shopping Park, Swindon Designer Outlet, the Love Parade and the Brunel to pick from, covering designer brands, High Street retailers and independent merchants.

Swindon is the home of the Steam Museum of the Great Western Railway, charting the history of a railway that revolutionized travel and industry. The exhibitions are incredibly engaging and both adults and children will love it.

If you're driving to or around Swindon, you might encounter the infamous ‘Magic Roundabout,' close to the Swindon Town football club stadium. This is a mammoth roundabout made up of 5 roundabouts surrounding a central 6th. It's as complex as it sounds. With that in mind, you might be relieved to find you can easily get to the town by train. There are direct services to Swindon from a number of towns and cities including London, Swansea, Bristol and Cheltenham.

So if you're popping to Swindon, whether for a business trip or a just-for-fun stay, choose from one of our Swindon hotels for comfort and convenience in a choice of locations.

Second visit
By Jazy67
Great venue, great location and superb staff all very attentive and professional. This is my second stay and I find this a handy location when on business and its has a pleasant restaurant and bar to [More] unwind after a long day at work. Overall I would recommend this Holiday inn express [Less]
Holiday Inn Express Swindon

The hotel is perfect for a quick / short stay. Though my stay was for less than 12hours, it was a good visit. [Less]
Recent Swindon stay

Very good hotel with knowledgeable staff and friendly service. I have become used to the different level of breakfast offered at HIE now so breakfast was on par. My only gripe with HIE is the [More] evening meals options are poor, and inevitably microwaved pre prepared grub, while paying restaurant prices. [Less]

good hotel

Outward appearances are deceptive. The hotel and grounds need an upgrade but the room, staff and bar were excellent. They have a nice pool table. The swimming pool seemed a little small and the [More] leisure club seemed a bit of an afterthought but the kids using it seemed to be having fun. Good pub (the Sun Inn) opposite which is where I spent the evening as there was more of an atmosphere. A good hotel for a base to the area. [Less]

Swindon and Fairford
By JimDee
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Swindon to go to the Fairford Air Tattoo. It was ideal for this because it is near both the train station and the bus station. It was excellent in providing a [More] comfortable base for our visit. The only negative aspect of our stay was the somewhat forbidding entrance to the hotel which is almost like going into an insignificant side door of a building. Once inside the surroundings and decor were very pleasant. [Less]
Serves the purpose
By Jennie
A lovely stay. Near the rail way station and the bus station. The room was small, but as it was only for sleeping purposes, it was fine. The bed was ok, a bit hard for my personal taste, but was [More] too tired anyways, so slept well. The pillows and the blanket were great. The room was clean and dark enough. Could have had a bit more room for storing clothes. The staff was friendly and remembered our requests and preferences over the stay. The breakfast isn't that great if you have some intolerance. Pretty traditional English breakfast. The room doors are quite noisy and the outside noise from the street quite audible. Pack up ear plugs. Still I would recommend the hotel, it was worth the money.
