We have three Swindon hotels, comprising of a town centre hotel and two further out of town to the East and West respectively. If you're on business, you can choose between proximity to the many out of town business parks or a location close to the town centre companies. Similarly, those in Swindon for leisure can choose between relatively rural accommodation or being right in the heart of it.
If you're on a family break, entertain the kids with some high energy, action packed entertainment. Combat Splat paintballing, the Skate Warehouse, the town's Laser Quest centre and Jungle Parc should keep even the most energetic entertained.
On the other hand, for something a little more relaxing, maybe you could treat yourself to a shopping spree. You'll be spoilt for choice with venues. There's the West Swindon Shopping Centre, Orbital Shopping Park, Swindon Designer Outlet, the Love Parade and the Brunel to pick from, covering designer brands, High Street retailers and independent merchants.
Swindon is the home of the Steam Museum of the Great Western Railway, charting the history of a railway that revolutionized travel and industry. The exhibitions are incredibly engaging and both adults and children will love it.
If you're driving to or around Swindon, you might encounter the infamous ‘Magic Roundabout,' close to the Swindon Town football club stadium. This is a mammoth roundabout made up of 5 roundabouts surrounding a central 6th. It's as complex as it sounds. With that in mind, you might be relieved to find you can easily get to the town by train. There are direct services to Swindon from a number of towns and cities including London, Swansea, Bristol and Cheltenham.
So if you're popping to Swindon, whether for a business trip or a just-for-fun stay, choose from one of our Swindon hotels for comfort and convenience in a choice of locations.
Last minute booking for a family occasion in Bath. The location was excellent for the centre of town, room was excellent, comfortable and well appointed.
The decor of the hotel was modern and[More] clean, especially the public spaces. Simple but consistent decorative style.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Onsite parking was a real plus especially for a city such as Bath where parking is a premium
Will definitely use again when returning for family events.[Less]
Nice stay no issues

The only thing I would have done differently is knowing that there are 3 people, put 3 mugs, 3 towels, and a few more pillows. I could have asked for these so it's not a complaint, just a suggestion.[Less]
Stay 9th May
By KennyH1107
On arrival, early from a running event, the staff found me a room to check in early so I could get showered, this was a huge bonus.
Room was clean, tidy and very comfortable, as was the rest of the[More] hotel.
Breakfast was excellent with a good range of options. During the next morning I worked from the lobby and there was no issue. I observed a cleaner thoroughly cleaning the lobby area, again giving peace of mind that the hotel took cleanliness seriously.
An enjoyable stay[Less]

We needed a relaxing evening in a safe environment on the way back home and chose well here.
Kumar was straight to our assistance in offering a lovely room upgrade in the first instance and nothing[More] was too much trouble. The suite was very nice indeed the bed huge and comfortable and so clean which was comforting.
Dinner was nice and the pie was excellent, the steak very poor but it was took off the bill so no problem at all here.
The breakfast was probably the best we have had in an IHG hotel for a very long time and great credit to the chef here. Excellent ingredients and cooked fresh and hot and was so enjoyable.
Overall cannot thank the staff here enough they are doing everything they can to serve the customer. IHG please give them the hotel renovation they deserve please to help out.[Less]

Very pleased with this hotel
By D and S
This was our first stay at this Holiday Inn. We were very pleasantly pleased with almost everything about this hotel from check in to check out. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was very[More] clean and big enough for our overnight stay. Breakfast was plentiful and well prepared.
Only three slight negatives. One was the size of the bed which was a standard double when we are used to a super king. The second was that there was no draft beer (only lager and cider) at the bar. The third was that the room only had one chair, as is the norm for many hotels at this price. We were prepared for this and brought a fold up chair from home!
Certainly would recommend and we have already booked up for our next stay in July.[Less]
