Chinatown is another essential. Head out of your Singapore hotel and explore by foot, or, for an authentic step back in time, visit the Chinatown Heritage Centre for faithful recreations of Singaporean history.

Great view
Good to have short staycation at crowne plaza... a very worthwhile experience [Less]
One stop for dine and shopping

Had some issues with the room given at the start of my stay where we requested for a runway view but had only a window at the toilet looking over a car park. Thanks to Guest Relations Officer Marlon, [More] he helped us resolved them by upgrading our room to a garden view and some view of the runway. Room was big and was able to accommodate a baby cot with still much space for my child to play. Buffet breakfast was not fantastic. Hygiene wise, when staff clearing up food on the table, excess food on table was swept on the floor, only noticeable pile of food on the floor did the staff used a broom to clean it. Location and amenities, this is a one stop hotel with many restaurants and shopping at all 3 terminals of the airport, and definitely a baby friendly airport. [Less]
here for business
By pharmaceutical worker
Was in Singapore overnight for business meeting. Hotel very conveniently located at the airport. Internet and room condition were all as expected. The only disappointment was that I had requested 2 [More] single beds--from the hotel website, the beds looked like full-sized beds but in reality are the smaller twin sized mattresses. [Less]
Beautiful hotel and great service
By tigerzzz
The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Nice tub and shower, great view from the floor to ceiling windows. Staff was responsive to my requests and anticipated my needs - really [More] impressed with the staff. [Less]
Too peranakan

Rooms were generally small and the lights were pretty dim. would prefer for the shower to have doors as it was so cold outside when you come out of the bathroom. Design were too complicated for [More] our liking and pillows too soft. But staff were nice and its quiet [Less]
Nice new hotel in the east side
Very new and nice décor. Many restaurants and bars around plus a shopping mall right next to it. As it is still fairly new, some taxi drivers may not know it yet. [Less]
Fantastic as always

Singapore Sling

It's many years since we have been to Singapore and all the family loved it. The hotel is in an excellent location, the rooms are very comfortable and you get a great cocktail in the bar. The staff [More] are very helpful and knowledgeable of what to do whilst in Singapore. All in all the stay was delightful. My only gripe would be the organisation at breakfast could improve because the wait for a table can be long at peak times. [Less]
Club Room is a MUST
I stayed here for a Solo Holiday for exploring Singapore. This hotel performed way beyond my expectations and this says a lot. I had a Heritage Club room which was beautiful, very spacious and very [More] well decorated. Along with plenty of bottles of water, expresso coffee machine and a rainfall shower. The best bit of this hotel was by far the club lounge, which many other reviews rate it as the best Club Lounge the Intercontinental have, and I 100% agree with that statement. The staff was so helpful and attentive. They never pushed anything on you, nor did they mind if you had many evening hot canapés! This is by far the best hotel I have ever been too, and without a doubt the best IC hotel around! The location is perfect, connected to Bugis Junction which has an MRT which connects to all different areas! Very easy to get to on the SMRT from the Airport. [Less]
