This hotel is one of the better Holiday Inns. very much unlike the ones in Canada and USA, much better service from the bell persons to the concierge.
It did take a long time it took to check in.
There was a long line of people waiting to check in but only two people working the desk and it takes a long time per guest to check in. Good thing there is a large sitting area in the lobby. We came back to this hotel after a few days away and encountered the slow checkin again.
The location is excellent, price is very good compared to other hotels in HK, and rooms can fit 2 adults and 2 children. Very difficult to find rooms for families in HK
There is an MTR entrance right around the corner. Many food and convenience stores are all within walking distance. Harbour is five minutes walk
The Handy cell phone is a bonus. It worked great and we were able to easily connect our own phones to it when going around town
Breakfast buffet was good, although it doesn't change much during the week we were there.
One other downside was that they were installing scaffolding outside our room. Workers going up and down and drilling and hammering into the walls. It was good that we were out for most of the time when they were working. [Less]
