Featured Nottingham Hotels

Our Nottingham family hotels are ideally located, both within the city centre and at East Midlands airport, with an additional hotel in nearby Derby.

Located in the East Midlands region on the banks of the River Trent, Nottingham is known throughout the world as the home of the legend of Robin Hood as well as for its history in lace-making. The Lace Market is still one of the city's oldest areas.

If you are looking for places to go, look no further than Nottingham Castle. Although rebuilt after the English Civil War, it has a lot to offer: from the inevitable statue of Robin Hood in its grounds to an art gallery, museum and even a cafe on the inside.

Concert-goers should be on the look-out for upcoming gigs at the legendary Rock City, which has boasted acts such as Nirvana, REM and Guns 'n' Roses in its time. If you're looking for something a little more refined, the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall host regular ballets, operas and classical concerts.

Sports fans are spoilt for choice with 2 professional football clubs: Nottingham Forest and Notts County whose respective stadia sit either side of the River Trent from each other. Trent Bridge stadium hosts regular test and county championship cricket matches.

Nottingham's transport links are second-to-none. It is served by a mainline train station and international airport and due to its central location in England, it is pretty easy to get to from just about anywhere. The city itself can be easily negotiated by a fantastic tram network.

Whatever your reasons for visiting, check in at one of our Nottingham family hotels to perfectly complement your stay.

Comfortable stay

Stayed 2 nights. Overall very enjoyable stay. Good car parking facilities on site. Short walk (20 minutes approx) in to centre of town. Immediately next door to football stadium and about 10 minutes [More] walk to rugby ground at Welford Road. Usual Holiday Inn Express breakfast menu of egg beans, sausage and continental options. Just wished the coffee from the coffee machine could have tasted a bit stronger and more like coffee. Ate evening meal one night in sports bar next door. Price was reasonable and enjoyed the meal. Would stay here again if in area. [Less]
2 Day Break - Holiday Inn Riverlights Derby
By Couplast
Spent two nights here with my wife, the hotel was very clean, well maintained, the staff were polite, attentive and cheerful. An excellent hotel, great value for money, the fourth floor Restaurant / [More] Bar offers views over Derby which isn't the prettiest city in the world but the view is interesting all the same. We had a minor problem with the air con unit, which worked but got a little noisy, but not enough to worry us. The only real issue for me is the parking, which was in a public multistory about 100 yards walk away, heading back from the car at midnight made my wife a little nervous. All in all a great hotel, excellent value and would recommend it, if a visit to Derby is called for again, it will be at the top of my list. [Less]
