Great service
By first time in edmonton
The wife and I booked 3 days at this hotel last week. Room on the 6th floorat first seemed alright, clean and comfy beds, etc. We had a hard time sleeping the first night due to noise coming [More] from the ceiling in the bath, noisy heating fan and traffic noise coming from the highway. In the morning the toilet wouldn't flush , so I called front desk. Within 5 minutes maintenance staff (IIRC his name was Jack) appeared and fixed the toilet. I pointed out to him the noise coming from the bath ceiling and he agreed , said it was from the mechanical room AC/Heating unit. Right away he said he would move us to another room and within less than 10 minutes he was at the door with new room cards. He even helped us move our things to a room on the fifth floor, inner court, no noise from bath room, fan or highway and finally a good night's sleep. The free breakfast was also excellent and included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, cinnamon buns, etc etc If we ever returned to Edmonton we would certainly stay at this hotel [Less]

What a lovely hotel and great staff!

Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel for the first time over the Thanksgiving long wknd. We loved the location, 5 blocks from my in laws apt. The hotel is under renovations and there were posted signs [More] indicating this everywhere, offering to help if there is an issue (eg no ice from the vending machines). We were warmly greeted upon arrival, quite tired after a 14 hr car ride to Edmonto. We loved the food options for breakfast. The whole hotel is very clean and the bedding was superb! The lobby was lovely, spacious and modern and food was constantly replenished and checked - nice to see. The maintenance man actually helped me glue my shoe together with contact cement- which had just fallen apart (!!) with. I was so impressed. We would definitely include this hotel in our next visit to Edmonton! Plus it is quite close to the brand new Rogers Place arena where the Oilers play and houses the new casino - which my inlaws took us to visit. (: [Less]
