Paris's most iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower. Built in 1889, the wrought-iron structure is a marvel of human engineering and offers sweeping views of Paris. The landmark is sure to be crowded with tourists, so it's advisable to visit early in the day or late in the afternoon.
To truly experience Parisian charm, take a walk through Paris's Montmartre neighborhood. At first glance, it appears you've walked back in time. With cobblestone streets, centuries-old buildings, and sidewalk buskers selling their wares, you'll experience the Paris of old. Be sure to walk or take a cable car up the summit of the neighborhood and tour the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré Cœur. Iconic artist such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Vincent Van Gough have all called Montmartre home.

Great hotel to stay at.

We loved the hotel. However a caution, the new part of the hotel is were we stayed. I think the old section may not be as nice. Whatever part you stay, the common area and staff are amazing. [Less]

Fantastic

This is our second stay and have to say the new layout is great. The lounge and dinning area are bright and airey, we stayed in the new builiding and had an executive room which was well presented. [More] We also met some of the staff who were there the first time and remembering us was an plesent surprise even asking about our family which proves its hard to get good staff but when you do you must be doing some thing right. Quick info for visitors great base hotel to get out and about a bus will be 2 euros to the bus station I would recommend getting a 4 zone ticket which covers bus metro etc 12 euros however if you want to visit Disney then you need a zone 5 ticket. The ticket allows all routes and we jumped on and off a few different routes . Transport is quick typical city experience but better than london As for paris try and book in advance for the tower and take a river trip . So a massive thank you holiday inn team special thanks to Erika Jason habib lucie and dylon and the rest of the team. Well recommended hotel good location and fantastic staff Thank you [Less]
Great location and value

Expect a smaller room than in the US but the room was clean, bed comfortable and hotel staff were helpful. The location is excellent with the subway very close and there is a bakery just a couple [More] doors down with wonderful quiche and baguettes. [Less]
Best Holiday Ever
By NancyCT
After a horrific flight we checked into the hotel exhausted. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. The woman working noticed my daughter was staying in the room with us. She asked if we would like [More] to see a room upgrade for an additional $50 euros a night. So she took us upstairs to the penthouse and then showed us a regular room. We decided to go with the upgrade which came with an amazing free breakfast. I am still missing that breakfast. We all had a wonderful experience. The location couldn't be any better. The metro station is literally 10 feet from the door of the hotel. Plus restaurants, bakeries and theater's are all up and down the block. We had such a great time we want to move to Paris now! We are sad to be home in CT. [Less]
Very nice
By Philfromdca
First the location is ideal. 5 minutes walk to gare montparnasse. Close to shops and theatres. Rue de la gaitee is vibrant and have plenty of nice restaurants. Second the staff could not have been [More] more gracious. They gave me a great room even though I had to wait to get it. They were on the top of their game. I am going back in a few days and I am looking forward to it. They are working on the elevators so it might look bad. Its probably temporarily. Rooms are clean. Nice bedding and very quiet overall. I strongly recommend. [Less]
Great Stay! Great Location! Friendly Hotel!
By HOFer13
We would absolutely book another stay at the Holiday Inn Notre Dame Paris again. Friendly, courteous, helpful staff took care of all our needs and answered all our questions regarding our week long [More] stay in Paris. We were granted a nice quaint clean room with a balcony with a spectacular Eiffel Tower view. The hotel also has a 9th floor bar terrace that offers a nice panoramic view of Paris on a warm night. We took advantage of the buffet breakfast offered at the Hotel and found it to be a great deal as it offered a nice variety of options and great coffee. Service was great throughout our stay. Another key factor was the location. half a block from the St Michel metro station and less than 2 blocks from other Metro and RER trains. Short walk from nice Cafes, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and even "little Greece" where snacks of Greek specialties and fresh Crepes were made quickly as you waited. Everything we needed in our stay in Paris that made it easier to acclimate to a new City. AAAA [Less]

Our stay was excellent, and we have already recommended the hotel to friends if they go to Paris. It was excellent for convenience to the Metros, the bus and excellent restaurants. We found a fun [More] Piano Bar near by to enjoy good Blues, Jazz and Rock and Roll. [Less]
