Featured Bristol Hotels

With speedy access to the flourishing city center, airport, and Parkway Business Park, our Bristol hotels will help you make the most of your stay.
Due to its location on the River Avon and the Severn Estuary in southwestern England, Bristol’s fortunes have long risen and fallen with the sea. Like so many prominent British settlements, Bristol can trace its habitation back to before the Iron Age. One of the three most prosperous cities of the kingdom during the medieval era, Bristol had its own mint and was pressing coins by 1020. Although it suffered significant damage during the Luftwaffe raids of WWII, Bristol’s indomitable spirit persevered to rebuild and maintain itself as a captivating destination for residents and visitors alike.
As you tour the city, you can’t miss the pretty Clifton Suspension Bridge over the Avon Gorge, a marvel of 19th century engineering. The trek to the top of Cabot’s Tower, built to honor one of the original British explorers of North America, who set sail from Bristol’s harbor in 1497, rewards climbers with sweeping views over the cityscape and surrounding parkland. Mixed in with Bristol’s hundreds of historic buildings are some of infamous artist Banksy’s original works—discovering them around the city is always an energizing treasure hunt.
Embrace the seafaring way of life when you climb aboard the SS Britain, an immersion in Victorian ship-building. Known for its diverse and exciting nightlife, you can knock back a pint at an ancient public house before heading out to catch a show at
Bristol’s Hippodrome or Theatre Royal.
Hunt down new apparel or a unique souvenir in Bristol’s Shopping Quarter, whose four separate shopping areas offer a whopping 500 stores. For hip, independent boutiques look no further than Park Street or Clifton. St. Nicholas Market in the Old City is another place to hit for both interesting goods and historic atmosphere.
With a packed roster of soccer, rugby, and cricket teams, there’s always a rousing match to catch somewhere in Bristol. The city is also host to the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta each year, so remember to look up!
Bristol’s two train stations and airport keep the city well connected to the rest of the U.K., with high-speed trains departing frequently for London’s Paddington Station.
Leave your cares at the door when you book one of our Bristol hotels. Our guarantee of friendly service, spacious rooms, and bottom-line values lets you leave the logistics to us while enjoying your time away in Bristol.

Great place
By jasdwp
Stayed here for a 1 night stopover, felt welcomed at check in which was extremely efficient, room clean and of a good size for our needs, air con also in the room, quiet, comfortable beds, a very [More] comfortable, hassle free stay. Check out was equally efficient and with a genuine smile and enquiry as to if everything had been ok for our stay. [Less]
Even better following refurbishment.
IHG Platinum Member Another great stay at this excellently positioned hotel. Rooms are typical HIE, but have been refurbished to a high standard in the new corporate colours. Staff excellent and [More] helpful,, good to see the parking charge has gone. Price of stay quite high but its in Bath so competitive with the competition. Only slight downside currently is the long standing building work going on next door. [Less]

Blown my socks off. Brilliant !
By StuartAdairTewkes
I stay in lots and lots of Holiday Inn’s around the country and sometimes things get a bit boring. Same service, same food etc etc. However, Holiday Inn Cardiff has blown my socks off. Firstly, and [More] most importantly, the service is exemplary. At check in there was one person working who was serving a guest. A passing member of staff saw me waiting and immediately came over to check me in, and that’s what I mean by great service, the focus on customers was evident everywhere. There were plenty of people in the bar in the evening but at no stage did we have to wait for a drink because there were enough staff working and the atmosphere was really friendly and relaxing. The other highlight was the food which is a completely new menu different from every other Holiday Inn I’ve stayed in. The bacon and cheese burger comes highly recommended and is about 4 times the size of the usual Holiday Inn one. Breakfast was second only to the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow for the range and quality. I think IHG need to start a programme of circulating their hotel management. Get the Bexley and Maidstone bar managers down to Newport to see how to staff an operation properly. Get the reception manager from Gatwick to Newport to see how to manage the check-in / out process, and get the Restaurant Manager of the Crowne Plaza Leeds to Newport to see what can be done if you put a bit of effort in. So well done Newport, you score a rare full marks and I’m looking forward to my next visit. [Less]
Lovely clean room and very comfortable bed.
By Soulgirl
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The room was spotless and the bed really comfortable, had a great night's sleep. Staff were friendly and the breakfast had a good variety to [More] choose from. We were looking forward to using the pool and whirl pool but these were out of action. I would definitely recommend this hotel. [Less]
