Featured Albuquerque Hotels

Stay at our Holiday Inn® hotels in Albuquerque and immerse yourself in the old Southwest. Shop for turquoise and leather along the cobbled passageways of the Old Town Plaza, then dine on savory enchiladas on a candlelit café patio.

Eighteenth-century Albuquerque comes to life just a short drive from our hotels in Albuquerque. Terracotta Navajo pots, Spanish colonial military uniforms and the vivid paintings of Ernest Blumenschein and Georgia O'Keeffe recall the city's rich cultural mix at the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History. No less colorful is the collection in the Balloon Museum, a multi-hued homage to hot-air ballooning. The collection includes World War I observation balloons, 19th-century wicker baskets and Victorian parachutes. Our Albuquerque hotels make it easy to explore the traditions of the Pueblo people at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, which displays intricately woven baskets and other tribal artifacts. On weekends the center hosts dance performances and demonstrations of pottery- and jewelry-making.

Narrow walkways form a pueblo labyrinth in the heart of Old Town, just a short distance from our Albuquerque hotels. Explore the neighborhood's passages on foot, peering into the Plaza's jewel-box patios and gardens bright with roses and fountains. Browse the Plaza shops and galleries for silver and turquoise jewelry, expressive kachina dolls, tooled leather jackets and contemporary Southwestern landscape paintings. The Old Town's restaurants dish up satisfying dinners, from traditional Southwestern fare like chicken enchiladas and spiced stuffed peppers to more modern fusions.

Book a stay in our Holiday Inn Albuquerque hotels and celebrate four seasons of fiestas. Come in autumn, when the landscape brightens with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, or in winter, when hundreds of luminarias glow in the cobbled courtyards of the Old Town.

convenient and spacious
By doris58
We stay at the Staybridge when we visit Albuquerque and have been happy each time. The rooms are spacious with the kitchenette being an added bonus. Having a separate living area is helpful when a [More] family member wants to stay up later since there is a tv in there as well as the bedroom. The rooms are clean, the hotel is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. It is conveniently close to the airport so you do hear planes flying overhead but this is to be expected, and not all of the time. [Less]

Cozy hotel
By AngelaT
My family stayed at the Staybridge Suites for the first time. We were delighted by the coziness of the suite. It was modern and clean with many amenities. The suite provided privacy and a central [More] area that we could visit with family. The breakfast was delicious with many choices. We will be returning soon. [Less]

Great staff, rooms need updating
By cathi59
This hotel is easy to access, check was quick and the staff very helpful with local information, as well as the hotel. The room was clean and ample size but is outdated and in great need of some [More] deferred maintenance. The wallpaper corners were peeling off and the print was outdated. The bathroom was on the small side. [Less]
It is an HI
By Rad_Nuke
I love staying at HI. I know what I am getting, and I like it. Clean sheets and comforters, a flat screen tv, and a quiet room are always a part of my HI experience. There is one thing about HI that [More] I do not like. Though it is minor, it is still annoying. Eggs with cheese folded in the middle. They serve these a couple of times per week, and not only are they gross cheese, but they do not offer another cheese-free option for eggs. On those days I am limited to my yogurt and processed Cinnamon roll. I think it is time for HI to revisit their tired breakfast menu. One other thing I did not care about with HI Albuquerque was that I had to walk outside in the cold to get to my room. That was kind of lame. This HI is more of a motel than it is a hotel. Other than those little things, it was a great stay. [Less]
