Stay at our Holiday Inn® hotels in Albuquerque and immerse yourself in the old Southwest. Shop for turquoise and leather along the cobbled passageways of the Old Town Plaza, then dine on savory enchiladas on a candlelit café patio.
Eighteenth-century Albuquerque comes to life just a short drive from our hotels in Albuquerque. Terracotta Navajo pots, Spanish colonial military uniforms and the vivid paintings of Ernest Blumenschein and Georgia O'Keeffe recall the city's rich cultural mix at the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History. No less colorful is the collection in the Balloon Museum, a multi-hued homage to hot-air ballooning. The collection includes World War I observation balloons, 19th-century wicker baskets and Victorian parachutes. Our Albuquerque hotels make it easy to explore the traditions of the Pueblo people at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, which displays intricately woven baskets and other tribal artifacts. On weekends the center hosts dance performances and demonstrations of pottery- and jewelry-making.
Narrow walkways form a pueblo labyrinth in the heart of Old Town, just a short distance from our Albuquerque hotels. Explore the neighborhood's passages on foot, peering into the Plaza's jewel-box patios and gardens bright with roses and fountains. Browse the Plaza shops and galleries for silver and turquoise jewelry, expressive kachina dolls, tooled leather jackets and contemporary Southwestern landscape paintings. The Old Town's restaurants dish up satisfying dinners, from traditional Southwestern fare like chicken enchiladas and spiced stuffed peppers to more modern fusions.
Book a stay in our Holiday Inn Albuquerque hotels and celebrate four seasons of fiestas. Come in autumn, when the landscape brightens with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, or in winter, when hundreds of luminarias glow in the cobbled courtyards of the Old Town.

I was pleasantly surprised when walking into the hotel, it was updated and contemporary. I especially liked my room. The bed was comfortable and when I turned off the lights there were no "little"[More] electronic lights from the phone, TV and alarm clock! The only thing that was really disappointing was that my room service was late which made me late for my meeting.[Less]
We really enjoyed the pool while we were there. It is large and has plenty of chairs and tables with umbrellas and pool towels. Sometimes it can get windy in Albuquerque, so there could have been a[More] little better/more consistent monitoring of the pool needs. But we did enjoy it![Less]
Clean, Quiet and comfortable
I paid for breakfast for 2 on my initial reservation but I had to delay my reservation twice and in so doing, my breakfast charges disappeared but no money was refunded. The drapes in the room only[More] cover about 1/4 of the window and the shade behind the curtain did not block any light. The toilet float kept sticking and I had to take the cover off to jiggle the float before the bowl would fill. The TV reception kept dropping out and the picture would start breaking up or drop out entirely.
These are minor issues but I believe it displays negligence of hotel upkeep.[Less]

Two things could have been improved. First, room was directly across from loud vending and ice machine. Second, the vegetables in the salad were not the freshest. Otherwise, all was as expected at[More] Holiday Inn.[Less]
