Featured Beijing Hotels

Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
Despite the modern façade, the city's endless array of historic attractions is the real draw here.
One could spend days, if not their entire Beijing hotel stay, exploring its beautiful palaces, temples and landscapes. Choose your Holiday Inn Express® hotel in Beijing wisely, and you'll get the most out of your trip to this fascinating city.

Beijing's simple grid-like layout and abundance of public transportation make it easy to navigate.
However, the city is heavily congested with traffic.
Your best bet is to focus on one area of Beijing at a time.
Dong Cheng's central location and numerous attractions make it a great place to start.
This district is home to Tiananmen Square, the National Museum of China, Temple of Confucius and the Forbidden City.
This "city within a city" was the private residence of Ming and Qing emperors and their families for more than 500 years.
A good portion of the city is in disrepair (and closed to the public), but the grand palaces, hallways and courtyards that remain are sure to impress.
South of Tiananmen, you'll find the Temple of Heaven, where Chinese emperors used to perform religious ceremonies.
Today, the temple serves as a tourist attraction and large public space, and you're more likely to see Tai Chi performed in mass on the front lawn than any ancient rituals.

Beijing's universities and the high-tech industries of ZhongGuanCun (dubbed "China's Silicon Valley") can be found north of the city in the Haidian district.
Haidian is also home to the Summer Palace and its magnificent gardens.
Of course, no Beijing hotel stay is complete without a trip to the Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The views from the popular Badaling section are worth the crowds and tourist kitsch.

If you prefer the hustle and bustle of modern day Beijing, don't worry.
The city offers plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options too.
Load up on souvenirs at the famous Panjiayuan Market, then follow the glow of red lanterns to the snack shops of Gui Jie (Ghost Street) for inexpensive Chinese dumplings and Peking duck.
If you're truly daring, venture to the Wangfujing Night Market and sample local delicacies like scorpions, sea cucumbers and deep-friend grasshoppers.
Beijing nightlife can accommodate just about any traveler's taste.
Enjoy cocktails and twilight boat rides on Houhai Lake, trendy dance clubs in the Sanlitun district, and traditional Beijing Opera is the city's theatres and tea houses.

Book one for our hotels in Beijing today and start planning your trip to this truly unique destination.

Great Service
By Tony
Highly recommended. Good service and staff were honest and responsible...no worries if you left anything (a Bose battery and Charger in my case) in the room upon check-out. The staff contacted me [More] through my international telephone number just to remind me to retrieve it (which I did) in my next visit. I consider this as excellent in China. [Less]
Good front desk staff
By Taipei46
At the check in even it was late, the staff was efficient in getting all the documents copied and handed over the keys. During my stay, front desk is helpful in getting the directions needed for [More] where I need to go. Just one point for other guests the subway station is a bit of walk to reach if one wants to catch subway in order to avoid the traffic jam in Beijing. [Less]

Great Service
By Nathen
Service is excellent. Room is clean. The breakfast is great, but dinner is not the best. Only problem we have is that the points are not collected, I have to call to make it. [Less]
Location is great.
By Tcchiu1
Location of this hotel is perfect it's about 15 minutes shuttle a ride from the airport and the hotel has complimentary shuttle service for guests who have needs. The hotel staff member were nice but [More] the check in and check out process was messed up, there has been no line but crowds cutting lines. we had a minor a credit card problem when we checked out because the hotel staff member does not know how to use the credit card machine. Overall this hotel has a great value and I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs to stay near the airport. [Less]
Good place to stay
By traveler
Everything was going perfect. However I had some troubles while asking a receptionist to transform my IHG points (gained at that moment) to Fly Blue points. I am not sure if he was able to make it, [More] since he looked at me how he hears that for the very first time. Hotel by itself is great, a comfy bed, a good breakfast selection, nice staff, and a clean environment. [Less]
Platinum value with scrumptious price.

It's been truly a great stay here. Perfect location with many choices of transportation. Friendly staff and great room service. You just can't miss it! [Less]
English expected
By mapdilion
Dears, I understand being in China and all, english or any other international language is not really common, however it is an international brand.. IHG ... and one would expect nothing less than [More] proper englih. I mean, I trust IHG all over the world not to be just a room in a given city but a reliable partner during my trip, with good advise and local tips.. at least to be able to point out directions to the closest ATM... but it was truly disapointing and in fact complicated. Not even room upgrade by being Platinum. Service was good, don't get me wrong, and most likely the staff is great also, but poor communication = no recommendation. Sorry for that. I hope this is improved, I really trust you in my trips.... [Less]
