This room was very clean and spacious. Did not feel like there were unwanted guests in the room with us. Great value for the price! Would highly recommend this place.[Less]

Great place to stay
The location was perfect. We were close to most everything in the Albany area. The hotel was very quiet...could not hear any unwanted noise. The outdoor area was very nice. Loved the firepit! We will[More] stay here or at any other Staybridge in our future travels.[Less]
First stop business
First time at this property. Was very surprised at the cost and quality provided. Having stayed at other IHG properties before I came to expect above average quality. However this property was[More] exceeding all expectations. The location is right on for any type of traveler. Right next to a mall with many restaurant and grocery shopping opportunities.[Less]
I had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown Albany. The staff was very attentive and helpful.
The only thing I did not like about the stay was I could not find the air[More] conditioner but was able to open the window.
No fan in the bathroom
Difficulty finding the entrance to the main door.[Less]
Great Experience for Affordable Price!
Was in for a brief one-night stay and was very happy with everything from checking-in to morning breakfast (extended thanks to snoozapalooza!). I would highly recommend staying here vs other hotels[More] due to the value and newly renovated rooms.[Less]
We stayed here 2 nights while in the area. The hotel rooms have been updated with new furniture and bathroom fittings but the effect was ruined by the very wrinkled curtains and bed skirts. The black[More] out curtains seemed old and one had a 4 inch L shaped tear in it.
The bathroom was new and clean but ours had a weird layout with the toilet situated in front of the sink with the toilet paper holder on the front of the sink. I don't know who thought that up but its a bad idea. The towel holder was hung above the toilet as usual but that makes it easy for a taller person to hit their head coming into the bathroom. The Keurig and fridge are in a dark little space across from the bathroom door.
The scrambled eggs and cheese omelette both were over cooked and very brown.
The staff was friendly. Would probably stay here again for the convenient location.[Less]
