Featured Glasgow Hotels

With locations in both the popular City Center and the scenic Scottish countryside, our Glasgow hotels are perfectly situated to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers.

Use our convenient Glasgow hotel guide to find the perfect Holiday Inn Express® hotel for your next trip.

Glasgow is a major hub for commerce, tourism and culture in the United Kingdom.
It's also known for its beautiful parks, quirky shops and restaurants, and distinctive architecture - a mix of both Victorian and modern styles.
Greater Glasgow is a sprawling area (approximately 80 square miles); however the central area is quite compact, making it easy for guests of our downtown Glasgow hotels to get around.
You can easily walk to both the City Center, the commercial heart of Glasgow, and popular West End District.

Within the City Center, you'll find both historic Merchant City and the Blythswood Hill financial district.
Be sure to check out the Gallery of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square, and the Glasgow Cathedral, an excellent example of the city's Gothic architecture.
The Clyde Auditorium, or the "Armadillo" to native Glaswegians, is adjacent to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Center and offers a variety of concert options, while the Theatre Royal is home to famous Broadway musicals and West End productions.

Looking to experience the city's more bohemian side during your Glasgow hotel stay?
Then the West End is a definite stop on your itinerary.
Here you'll find an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as lively pubs and bars surround the University of Glasgow campus.
The Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is one of the most celebrated attractions in the UK, boasting many fine paintings and sculptures, including works from Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Monet and Whistler, medieval relics and more.

The Botanical Gardens are a pleasant way to spend the day, and with regular subways connecting the West End to Ibrox Stadium, home to the Glasgow Rangers soccer team, you can also experience Scotland's favorite past time during your visit.

Of course, this is only a small sampling of what this great city has to offer.
You may have to plan an extra trip to take in all the sites, sounds and flavors of Scotland's 2nd city - and our Glasgow hotels are always ready to welcome you.

Dining experience
By Harry
My wife and I spent 2 nights at the hotel and had dinner on both nights in the dining room. The service on the night of 11 July was extremely poor. The front of house person allowed a line of people [More] to form whilst trying to arrange a table for a large party. We waited 5 mins before being attended to although there were plenty of tables available. The waiter got the wine order wrong [Less]

Perfect stay after a late flight, we used the 8 day park and stay option. Dropping the car off is so simple and you can walk to the terminal, no need for transfers. When we can back from the airport [More] it was an easy and simple check in and a good nights sleep ready to drive home the next day. [Less]

Great option for early morning flight
By dsutton
This hotel is ideal for anyone with an early morning flight. We were able to return our rental car the night before and walk a few steps across the street to the check-in terminal the next morning. [More] They offer breakfast starting at 4am, so you are sure to get some food in your belly before leaving. Hot foods are served beginning at 6am. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dinner options and a bar are also available. The only negatives about the hotel are: 1) We had trouble finding the correct road to get to the hotel. We accidentally wound up in the airport carpark, and would have been stuck in there if not for happening upon an airport staff member at the exit who was able to open the gate and let us out without paying a fee (and who also directed us on how to reach the hotel properly) 2) We are a family of four and would have been more comfortable with 2 double beds rather than 1 double bed and a pull-out sofa. 3) The air conditioner would not go as low as we would have liked. Luckily it was cool enough outside to open the window and let some cool air in to make us comfortable. (Also were lucky it wasn't too loud outside for this to be feasible) [Less]
