Featured Cardiff Hotels

Get to know the unique flavor of Wales when you choose one of our Cardiff hotels, which feature views of Cardiff Bay, access to the city center, and easy transfers to the airport.
The capital of Wales - known as Caerdydd in Welsh - Cardiff sits on the Celtic Sea. A small settlement formed centuries before the Christian era, Cardiff grew considerably through waves of history, especially after its docks were built in the 19th century. Today, it remains a proud center for Welsh culture.
A Norman stronghold whose foundations were laid in the 11th century, Cardiff Castle has played a role in the city’s history for 1,000 years. Now home to a museum and interpretive center, the castle opens a window into the lives the families that owned, fought, and lived there. For grounding in the Welsh spirit, the National History Museum at St. Fagans and the National Museum and Gallery of Wales are also must-visits.
It may be an ancient city, but Cardiff’s shopping is anything but. Get started on Queen Street and St. Mary’s Street, or give the large St. David’s Centre a try. For Victorian-flavored shopping, the High Street Arcade will help bring the past to life, or load up on organic produce at the Cardiff Center Market. Don’t miss Spillers Records, which claims to be the oldest record store in the world.
Suit up and head to Cardiff Arms Park, a famous destination for rugby fans. The city has a robust cricket and soccer sporting tradition as well.
The busy
Cardiff Central train station and international airport will keep you well connected to your next destination, whether you’re headed out to explore the rest of beautiful Wales or it’s on to the European mainland.
Relax and leave the details to us when you select one of our Cardiff hotels. Our values can’t be beat, and our comfortable rooms and welcoming staff will help you truly discover Welsh hospitality.

Best staff on the planet

The staff- Stacy needs to be mentioned- at this hotel are first rate. Great attitude and delivery. The hotel is located centrally and although it doesn't have a gym you can run through the park along [More] the river on the Taff Trail for a good 5 miles. The shower in the room I was in was brilliant, great pressure and HOT water. [Less]

The Staff Make It ! Looking Forward To Returning.
By Boudicca
Warm greeting upon arrival, and room upgrade given upon request for availability. Allocated room 606 which was classified as a newly refurbished Executive Room. Had the feeling it had not been [More] occupied for some time as the kettle was switched off at the wall and I had to move the heavy table just to switch it on. Bedding was spotlessly clean,as were the towels. Though the advertised dressing gowns and slippers for two persons consisted of only one dressing gown. This was not a problem for us as we always carry our own,but other clients may make a fuss about it,so would advise housekeeping to always make sure the rooms are as they are advertised to be. Room always cleaned and made ready for us each morning to a high standard. Being fresh air freaks we would have liked the window to open a tad more than it did, though understand the Health and Safety features installed as we were on the 6th floor. Breakfast each morning was exemplary ...... beginning with warm and cheerful greetings from all staff. The array of freshly prepared fare was second to none and we were sorry to leave after our final breakfast. All in all en enjoyable long weekend and a place to be recommended. [Less]

an excellent Holiday Inn.. The traffic near the hotel is terrible, but as long as you get in before 4pm or after 7pm it wont be too stressful. The rooms are clean the service is great and it has a [More] nicely stocked bar, I will be staying again. [Less]
business trip in cardiff
By Insomniac for the night !
already was staying here over the weekend on pleasure and extended it for business on the Monday. For somebody doing business in Cardiff or south wales its fine, having access to the motorways [More] literally on the doorstep. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. You need a car and there's not much entertainment outside the hotel nearby (The Lewis arms in Tongwynlais and its castle up the hill are wonderful, but a good walk away# Lot of refurbishment work has been done now holiday inn have taken over the hotel and rooms are clean and modern. They did screw up my bill #mixed up the amounts from my leisure and business stay), however I rang the hotel couple of days later and thanks to Claire in accounts who sorted it out [Less]
