With one located within the city centre and another within a 10 minute walk of the city centre, our Derby hotels offer value for money and a great place to relax whatever your reasons for coming to the city.
Located in the East Midlands, Derby is well served by trains to most mainline stations in England thanks to its central location. It is also located just off the M1 for easy access by road from the North and the South of England. The Peak District National Park is located around 30 minutes from the city by car.
Derby's All Saints Cathedral is one of the city's main landmarks and is certainly worth a visit, not only for the stunning architecture but also, if you're really lucky, to see some of the resident peregrine falcons flying around during the breeding season. The Grade I listed St Helen's house, which dominates the city's King Street, and the Victorian Market Hall on Market Street are certainly worth a visit too.
Derby Museum and Art Gallery is the place to be for fans of Derby's own Joseph Wright with a whole host of his works. The stunning Pickford House shows off the Georgian era with its fine furniture and decor.
Shoppers will find traditional shops and boutiques in the cathedral quarter of the city with a great range of stores. This combined with Derby's superb Westfield shopping centre - with more than 190 stores set in a stunning building - really sets the city out as probably the East Midland's prime shopping location.
Whether you're coming here to watch Derby County at Pride Park, to shop in the popular shopping areas or for an important business meeting, be sure to get the most from your stay with a night or two at one of our Derby hotels.
Would recommend this Holiday Inn Express for anyone looking for an overnight stay in Leicester. However, make sure that there isn’t a soccer match being played in the adjacent stadium. There are[More] plenty of good restaurants, at all prices, in the city centre a short drive away[Less]

What a welcome!!
By The lady from the North
The great welcome's continue - a new face on reception but the welcome was just the same!! Keep up the good work!! The room once again was spotless - congratulations to the hard working/ unsung[More] heroes - the cleaners !![Less]
It has been almost 10 weeks since my last visit to this hotel and i am pleased to say the same excellent standards still apply today Julia, Josh, Tom, Charlie, Helen, Scott, and Natalie deserve[More] special mentions for their friendliness and professionalism[Less]
2 night visit in November
A great place to stay for a family visit. Hotel very clean with a modern feel. Food very good. Staff very professional, helpful and friendly[Less]
We will probably stay again as the location is near to family. Our room was fine, comfy, good bed. No noise. Free magazines (no free papers? Or maybe they go quickly?). Plenty of parking and easy to[More] find, being right on a ring road. Good breakfast.[Less]
Long Duration Stay(100+ nights) for business reasons
Extensive stay: Can't fault the accommodation (cleanliness, comfortable bed, large screen TV...), location to City Centre Amenities beyond and the staff are so diligent and personable.[Less]
Overall Good Stay
Overall stay very good.
However, a few things that were disappointing to the hotel stay.
firstly, there was no gym there. When we looked it said there was a gym, when we got there, we were told[More] that no gym available,
Also, you have a pool which has also not been available since covid.
There were not enough towels in the room for a party of 4.
Then in the room there was no fridge and in the shower rooms there was no extractor, normally not an issue but when you have a family of 4 and all having a shower. This becomes an issue when trying to get ready especially with 3 ladies in the room.
The manager did try and rectify the issue and cancelling the booking, I explained the last thing i want to do is change hotels
and re pack and then try and find another hotel all last minute.[Less]
Room was lovely if a little dark, better lightening would have been preferred. Location was brilliant and it was easy to find. Beds and room were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was expensive for 3[More] people just over £50, one of our party only had cereal, but there was no choice offered for just a continental breakfast at a cheaper price.[Less]
