Featured Vancouver Hotels

Discover our hotels in Vancouver, Washington, a historic trading city on the banks of the Columbia River. You'll soon be snapping photos of roaring waterfalls and toasting the sunset with a hand-crafted beer.

Guests of our Vancouver hotels can explore the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, originally built by the Hudson's Bay Company in the early 1800s. A restored blacksmith's workshop, a fur warehouse and an Indian trade outpost demonstrate what pioneer life was like at this bustling trading post. When the U.S. military took over the fort in 1860, Victorian mansions were built along Officer's Row for resident officers and their families. Vintage open-cockpit aircraft and replica World War I bombers are on display at the adjacent Pearson Air Museum. A trail from the fort leads to the Columbia River, where snow-capped Mt. Hood rises in the distant east.

Our Vancouver hotels are across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon, where you can shop for deals on sportswear at Nike and Columbia Sportswear factory outlets. Take a short drive east of Vancouver to browse for cozy and iconic blankets and jackets at the Pendleton Wool mill in Washougal. Sip a house-brewed beer and enjoy cedar-roasted salmon from the riverfront deck of McMenamins on the Columbia, near our hotels in Vancouver. The innovative chefs on Portland's sophisticated dining scene favor local and organic meats, fish and vegetables. Wine bars in Portland and Vancouver pour pinot noir, malbec and cabernet sauvignon vintages from Oregon and Washington wineries.

Book our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Vancouver to explore the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. A driving tour along the Historic Columbia River Highway in Oregon passes breathtaking grey-basalt cliffs towering over the mile-wide river. Stop at Multnomah Falls, a roaring cascade of water tumbling down from ancient forests.

I did enjoy my stay
By EtchGuy
The hotel is an impressive new addition to the ICH group. Everything is as you would expected for a new build property. The room was clean, well-appointed, comfortable & remarkably quiet. [More] Breakfast was an order from menu affair, not quick enough for my week day needs but perfect for the weekend though. I guess my presence in the restaurant was missed on morning 2 & 3 of my stay, so some free breakfast coupons were pushed under my room door – Much appreciated, thank you hotel staff! I am sure that this hotel will become very busy when the word gets out about its opening, I do rate it to be better than the other comparable hotels that I have stayed in for this location. As the word has not got out yet, the restaurant is far from busy & so does not have much of a menu selection. Not a problem though as there are a couple of decent restaurants in walking distance. Copper River bar & grill is a ½ mile walk away; well worth going there for dinner & a few beers, the walk back is required to get over the meal – I am sure that I could feel my arteries hardening as the meatloaf was being consumed! The only down-side; I was not recognized as a IHG Spire member on check-in, so no offer of welcome points or bottled water etc, in the room.. I am sure this is just teething problems for such a new hotel. [Less]
