Room was OK. Paid extra for 'executive level' but did not see or experience anything special about being on the 'executive' floor.
Previously, the window was able to be opened at least an inch
for fresh air. Not at all this visit.
Stupidly: when using the bathroom, to get the floor mat you have to walk in to the shower stall fr
om the left, door only opens from left, but floor mat is at the end of the stall, making you walk into stall to retrieve mat. Totally stupid and irritating.
I ordered room service of crab cakes and halibut and chips.
When delivered, only one small lemon wedge. Had to ask for more which resulted in an additional tip; which made me wonder if that was pre-planned. Having worked in hotel and restaurant industry, I would never bring one lemon wedge for two crab cakes and five deep fried halibut pieces.
I always tip even though it is automatically added to Bill.
Then the worst issue was that once the meal is delivered, it is already cooled.
There is a refrigerator in the room, so - based on every other Holiday Inn/Crown Plaza, expected a microwave to heat up meal.
NOT! I paid an incredible amount for my meal but ended up leaving most because the fish was cold.
NOTHING WORSE THAN COLD CRAB CAKES AND FISH AND CHIPS!
Ate the cold crab cakes which were disgusting. Ate two of five cold deep fried battered fish.
Lesson learned: don't order room service.
Breakfast: After that - went to disgusting Denny's for breakfast.
I ordered room service which has [Less]
