Staff at front desk was very friendly and had the documents for my chek in ready in advance. Called me by my name and gave me a discount coupon for using at restaurant. I would had like to have breakfast included.

Dirty & out dated hotel, not what I normally get when I stay at a Holiday Inn. The rooms on the floor I stayed were supposed to be non-smoking but you could tell right as soon as you got off the evevator they were not. I will not stay in this HolidayInn again.

Right when I got there they gave me someone else's room but that was resolved and provided a voucher for the mistake. I also asked for a Fridge for the room and I had it within 15 mins of checking in . That was great!
My only negative is that the curtains in my room did not close all the way. Being on the first floor, alone and a woman there was a thorught of safety. Also I don't like light coming through.

I first came to this hotel 3 years ago for a business trip, and my initial impression of the location made me a little dubious. It lies between the expressway and some rail lines and the area is a little run down. That said, I found my stay to be excellent; I had no problems with the neighborhood, the people I met were very personable, the hotel staff was fantastic, and I got a great night's sleep each night (no noise from the highway or rail). Since then, I've had to return to the area twice (once each year) and this hotel has been my first choice. Both subsequent times my stay has been as good as the first.
My only negative (if you could call it that) is with the hotel dining. I ate there one night for dinner just before it closed. Despite the hour, the staff didn't rush my meal and the food was good (but not special--may be due to the late hour); but I didn't think it was worth the price. Similarly, the breakfast prices seemed too high for me (I'm used to staying at hotels where the breakfast is included). Fortunately, there are several fast food restaurants (McDonalds, Subway, etc) within walking distance so they were my preferred choice of dining for both breakfast and dinner.

The refrigerator in the room did not work. The air conditioner did not work. The cleaning staff knocked on the door at 919 am when check out was not until 11 am...just to see if we were still in the room!! NEVER AGAIN!!

This is a great location with easy access to downtown Cincinnati via several bridges that are not ties into the interstate system and its heavy traffic.

I arrived in at 6am in the morning of my stay without a reservation. I had been driving all night. the front desk man, I don't recall his name was very help in not only getting me a room but allowing for an early check in so I could rest. He left a note for the next shift front desk worker and she was equally as helpful at check in. We very much enjoyed our stay and have to say this time, it was the service alone which really made the difference. Thank you and please extend my many thanks to those two employees.

I had two rooms with one of them having a small problem in the bathroom. Within minutes of reporting it to the front desk they were working to fix the situation. The manager personally checked it out to make sure it was taken care of, plus he added a couple of amenities to make up for the inconveince. Great Staff
