Featured Vancouver Hotels

Discover our hotels in Vancouver, Washington, a historic trading city on the banks of the Columbia River. You'll soon be snapping photos of roaring waterfalls and toasting the sunset with a hand-crafted beer.

Guests of our Vancouver hotels can explore the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, originally built by the Hudson's Bay Company in the early 1800s. A restored blacksmith's workshop, a fur warehouse and an Indian trade outpost demonstrate what pioneer life was like at this bustling trading post. When the U.S. military took over the fort in 1860, Victorian mansions were built along Officer's Row for resident officers and their families. Vintage open-cockpit aircraft and replica World War I bombers are on display at the adjacent Pearson Air Museum. A trail from the fort leads to the Columbia River, where snow-capped Mt. Hood rises in the distant east.

Our Vancouver hotels are across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon, where you can shop for deals on sportswear at Nike and Columbia Sportswear factory outlets. Take a short drive east of Vancouver to browse for cozy and iconic blankets and jackets at the Pendleton Wool mill in Washougal. Sip a house-brewed beer and enjoy cedar-roasted salmon from the riverfront deck of McMenamins on the Columbia, near our hotels in Vancouver. The innovative chefs on Portland's sophisticated dining scene favor local and organic meats, fish and vegetables. Wine bars in Portland and Vancouver pour pinot noir, malbec and cabernet sauvignon vintages from Oregon and Washington wineries.

Book our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Vancouver to explore the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. A driving tour along the Historic Columbia River Highway in Oregon passes breathtaking grey-basalt cliffs towering over the mile-wide river. Stop at Multnomah Falls, a roaring cascade of water tumbling down from ancient forests.

Totally in a great location. The hotel is in walking distance from a grocery store and great restaurants. [Less]

Lovely hideaway in Hillsboro
By Jaba
We came out for a friend's wedding/reception. It was a little bit out of the way, hidden. But it was well located in the end, near plenty of restaurants and shops. The room was quite comfortable. The [More] only issue was the crazy alarm clock, which was broken. No biggie. Didn't use it for that, and I took it to the desk the next day. Plenty of space, comfy pillows and mattress. Overall a great stay and good value. [Less]
Fair hotel, not such a nice neighborhood
By ChrisTX
Hotel is mid-pack among the typical HI Expresses. It's an old building but has been remodeled. It's located sort of between downtown and the suburbs in an area I wouldn't choose to stay in again. [More] Staff was nice. Price was good. [Less]

totally adequate
By sleeping in portland
Except for the room getting a little tired (bed table scuffed, lampshade crushed, stain on carpet, the room was clean and the bathroom impeccable. This Holiday Inn refurbished their rooms a few [More] years ago, and just needs to now keep up with wear and tear. In the dining area, despite great food and staff, I could smell strong cleaning material, which wasn't great. But overall, it worked fine and I got to the airport easily early the next morning.
