Featured Shanghai Hotels

From its soaring modern skyline to its lush gardens and palaces, Shanghai has long been a place of fascinating intersections. Both a historic epicenter of global trade and a city bisected into two distinct cores by the Huangpu River, our wide range of Shanghai hotels will help you experience these pleasing contradictions firsthand.
Get to know Shanghai’s dramatic skyline from the vertiginous observation deck of the Shanghai World Financial Center’s 100th floor. From there, hit the Riverside Promenade in the Bund District to begin to get a feel for the city and its lively mix of old and new. Here, the original trading houses and consulates of European nations line the riverfront. Located within the old walled city, the City God Temple is a large complex of roofs eaved in traditional Chinese style, with serene tea houses and pavilions that help you forget you are in one of the world’s largest cities. From there, stroll to the nearby Yuyuan Garden, a 16th century monument to tranquility that boasts the Exquisite Jade Rock, an impressive boulder that is rumored to have been salvaged from a shipwrecked shipment bound for the Chinese emperor.
Cross the river to Pudong, Shanghai’s center of modernity, and crane your neck to view the Oriental Pearl Tower, a true symbol of the city. Many are drawn by the pull of Nanjing Road’s buzzing neon streets, and you’ll see why once you witness the spectacle of boutiques, scrumptious traditional dining, and people watching for yourself. The Yuyuan Bazaar offers more
traditional Chinese shopping opportunities, and an ideal spot to try some piping hot dumplings. Learn more about the past and current history of the city while indulging in a glitzy night out at the one-of-a-kind Shanghai Circus World. During this spectacular show, scenes of Chinese history are brought to life through a mix of dance, acrobatics, and martial arts synchronized with a music and light show.

Comfortable area and staffs
By blueagnel
The area of the hotel is very safe and comfortable. The has good restaurants and bars. I did not feel that I was in China. A subway station is close. The hotel is very clean and staffs are friendly. [More] I stayed a suite. The suite was good to have a meeting with guests. [Less]

This hotel is super convenient when moving in and out of Shanghai to other cities for business. Taxi is 5 minutes to Hongqiao [Less]
Friendly ,relaxed stay.
By Pollywoggle
Huge problem with air conditioner noise. Could also not turn temperature down. The shower room door did not seal, consequently water spreads into the rest of the bathroom. My colleague experienced [More] the same problems. The room price is very variable causing me great uncertainty. Duty manager Marc is a valuable asset to your business. [Less]
Comfortable and Good Value but staff barely speak English
By BeenAroundtheWorld
Hotel was great. I would stay there again and recommend to a friend but I did have some issues with the light/power/room key. The TV auto turn on function is loud and annoying and the staff barely [More] speaks English at best. None of the people at the concierge desk spoke any words in English nor could they recommend places for me to visit. The managers spoke English and were very helpful. The pool was great (long and see through bottom from top floor), the workout room was small but complete and the buffet breakfast foods were fine. You must get your own coffee and the staff wasn't too quick to clean up, but it was manageable. A great service was the daily hotel shuttle to the metro station. Beware, finding taxis from metro back to the hotel was at times challenging as it was too close and cabs would decline to take you. Ultimately it was a good hotel to stay in, you just need to be aware of these few issues. [Less]
Great Location
By Mich46
5 minutes from Line 7 and the world of Shanghai is at your feet. We traveled all over the city with ease from this hotel. For those of you interested in getting in as much as you can this Hotel is [More] a great location. The staff are super helpful in making this happen. Rooms were OK to nice. Fun fact in each hallway there are fun icons once you get off the elevator that tell you the weather. I would stay again. [Less]
Value for money
By VSCyippy
Very good service and relatively high overall standard with reasonable room rate, I think this is a good deal. [Less]
A hidden treasure in Shanghai
By PeterDevon
This is an excellently managed hotel with very well trained and friendly staff who are always looking to help their guests. It has a pleasant swimming pool and a reasonably equipped gym. Although [More] it appears to be somewhat off the beaten track it is readily accessible via the excellent Shanghai metro network. [Less]
