My pleasant stay
By Vink1
My stay at Int Ruijin was a very pleasant experience. This was my second stay at the hotel in as many months and I intend to stay here on my future visits too. The location, ambience, huge grounds, [More] history of the hotel, cleanliness level all combined to make a memorable experience. [Less]
Heating/AC huge issues
By Disgruntled2817
The hotel and staff are wonderful. Location and building interior/exterior are gorgeous and one of a kind. The heating and AC systems are TERRIBLE. My room was heated (which normally would have been [More] nice), except I couldn't turn off the heat or turn on the AC. I also couldn't open the windows without letting mosquitoes in. The first night was bearable as it was quite chilly outside and not as many mosquitoes came in, but the second and third nights were unbearable. Love the hotel and would love to stay here again should they fix the heating problem. [Less]

I enjoyed my trip in China, specially because of this hotel, with their kind hospitability and great support, made me easy to handle whole trip in so successful manner. Thank you again for the great [More] service, and it is highly recommended.... [Less]
Quiet and convenient location
By GZ1234
The hotel is located in a quiet area but it is able to conveniently reach to other parts of Shanghai via subway if you don’t want to pay expensive taxi and stuck in the horrible traffics. The outside [More] hotel looks nice and the room is comfortable. It has free shuttle to subway station in the morning although it is only 10 minutes walking to the Longde Road Station (Line 11). If you want take taxi to the hotel, you better get off Jiangsu Road station (line 2 or 11) about 3km away to the hotel. - Sometimes it is difficult to find a taxi around the Longde Road Station if you don't know which exit you should go. Just like in the States
By DittoDan
Pros: Known quality Good security, have to use electronic card on elevator Very helpful staff Has do-it-yourself washer/drier, ironing board Bed sleeps well (softness) Great shower and water [More] pressure Has electronic safe in room Has hair dryer The internet speed was the fastest I had anywhere in my stay at several places Cons: The rental bike was in dis-repair Not many meats for breakfast, other weird food was very bland tasting I was there at wrong time of year (Nov), it was uncomfortably warm in my room, they couldn't turn on a/c. There is no way to open a window for fresh air The bed only had hugely thick blanket with no single sheet. So it was too hot to sleep under it. The road in front of hotel was under construction, so your shoes got muddy before coming in and out of hotel It about 2 city blocks to subway. The choices of good restaurants near hotel (walking distance) are terrible. [Less]
Business Trip to Shanghai Waigaiqiao
By Tobingchn
During my business trip this time, I had to visit the factory site at Shanghai Waigaoqiao area. I found Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Jinqiao Central in quite good location as located within walking [More] distance from MRT Station. Easy for access. Started my days with simple but nice breakfast. Room was clean and cozy. Even there was some road construction nearby, but in overall I find this hotel nice. Very Holiday Inn Express... [Less]
