Featured Leeds Hotels

We have ten Leeds business hotels for visitors to choose from, so whether you want to be right in the centre or on the outskirts of the city, we can accommodate you.

The West Yorkshire city of Leeds is a business hub as well as popular tourist city. So when your meetings are done, it's worth making time to take in some of the many sights.

Weather permitting, a stroll along the canal is great way to spend an afternoon and a wander around the city will present some stunning architecture. St Anne's Catholic Cathedral, the Leeds University Union building and the Leeds Town Hall building are examples of some spectacular landmarks. Northwest of the city, Kirkstall Abbey is a historic site dating back to 1152.

Leeds has a number of museums. The Royal Armouries, Thackray Medical Museum, Abbey House Museum and the Leeds Industrial Museum are amongst the most notable.

The city attracts thousands of shoppers from near and far each week. The Trinity Leeds shopping centre is located centrally and is open late. It houses many familiar household brands. Meanwhile, the city's Corn Exchange features smaller and perhaps lesser-known stores and boutiques.

Leeds is sports mad. Between the Leeds United Football team plying their trade at Elland Road and Leeds Rhinos Rugby League team based in the city, there's a major sporting event taking place many weekends.

Leeds is quite well connected. With Leeds Bradford airport close by and Manchester Airport accessible as well, international travel is straightforward to and from here. The city sits on the M62 and M1, linking it by road with Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshire as well as with the midlands and London.

Check in to one of our Leeds business hotels and let us make you at home in the heart of West Yorkshire.

Nice room, shame about the cleanliness
By Emannah
As a regular visitor to this hotel I always feel like a valued guest as staff on reception know/recognise me which is lovely. On this occasion the cleanliness was not as good as I would expect. I [More] found a couple of items left by a previous guest and the corridor wasn't cleaned during my 3 night stay - the same bits of paper remained on the floor throughout. Also toiletries and refreshments were not restocked daily. As a visitor on business I look for a good experience priced competitively and other hotels are keen to attract custom. The HI needs to maintain its standards and appreciate the regular users. Having said this I am sure it was just a blip [Less]
Comfortable

Great location for York. Hotel is spacious and clean and generally well maintained. Staff are excellent - very capable and friendly and always wiling to help. Food quality is, at best average. OK, [More] it's a hotel so you can't expect much, but it's not cheap and really represents poor value. In particular, the quality of the steaks served was very poor. A shame, as this spoils an otherwise good hotel. [Less]
Excellent staff
By Blackcat04
It is the first time staying at this hotel in my ten years visiting York. It was refreshing to be greeted by front of house staff who were accommodating, friendly and courteous. The grounds and areas [More] surrounding the hotel were well kept and clean as were the reception and bar areas. The room was clean though slightly dated but was more than adequate for my stay as I would not be spending a great amount of time in there. However I believe there is a refurbishment of the hotel currently taking place. We had evening meal and breakfast the quality food for both was good and the staff attentive with a can do attitude for any requests. Overall enjoyed the stay with a special mention to the staff for going the extra mile. [Less]

friendly, comfortable and clean
By Ashleigh18
Staff could not have been more helpful, one member of staff Andrew even helped us make plans for the Friday night as we wanted to go for a meal so he advised us on a restaurant and booked us a table [More] for the 17 of us. He then organised for the hotel to do us afternoon tea which was beautiful. Hotel was beautiful, so comfortable and we couldn't be have been happier with our stay. [Less]

First Class Hotel
By CBSymes
First time to stay in the Indigo brand of IHG hotels and this was a revelation. This is bay far one of the best hotel experiences and I stay in hotels every week for work. IHG have set the bar very [More] high for others to follow. I would recommend anyone to try this brand of hotel. We will return to this hotel in York and try others in other locations. [Less]
good hotel - great staff
By Cockington
We decided to book this hotel after reading a few reviews on line. I was aware it had been a while since we had visited York and wanted to bring myself up-to-date. The reviews were generally good, so [More] we booked. Thankfully we found the reviews accurate and the hotel was as good as expected...They say first impressions count, and this is where the reception staff excelled. They were great and if it had not been on the advice of our receptionist we would have missed a great pub-come-eating house called the House of the Trembling Madness (see separate review). Nothing was too much trouble and we felt looked-after. Breakfast's were great and freshly cooked to order - what a difference. we booked. Thankfully we found the reviews accurate and the hotel was as good as expected...They say first impressions count, and this is where the reception staff excelled. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt looked-after. Breakfast's were great and freshly cooked to order - what a difference. There were some small niggling problems, and if we were staying for a longer period we would have asked to have them sorted. We found the air-conditioning noisy at night and difficult to balance. We tried turning this off one night however the room became hot and stuffy. We were also located over the inner courtyard (room 230) and could not open the (small) window as we were over the main air-conditioning fan units! in addition the TV not working correctly, we managed a work around however did not really use that much. Best part - well appointed rooms generally and great staff. [Less]
Most Relaxing Hotel
By debmach
We chose this hotel for a midweek stay in York.It was recommended and i totally agree that this is a top class hotel in a good location. The reception area was friendly and charming and we used the [More] bar early evening before we ventured out . The room was very impressive much better than the more standard hotels we have used before .The quirky lamps ,artwork and extras all made it so welcoming .The fridge with fresh real milk ,bottles of water and chocolate were a bonus. I loved the white fluffy bath robes and slippers and the brilliant magnifying bath mirror! We used the wifii which was free and fast. The only thing i missed out on was the restaurant and bar food i couldn't see a menu in the bar only some kind of meatball sandwich ! However the breakfast was amazing ,fab staff and the range of fresh food was brilliant. My only criticism was the parking it was a long trek for my husband who had just had a heart attack ,we didn't know that the car park is not that close to the hotel and they charge £10 a night . Overall though it was a brilliant place to stay . [Less]
