With the city center and train station within walking distance, as well as close access to London Heathrow Airport and the Thames Valley business parks, our Reading hotels are sure to meet your needs, no matter what your reason for heading our way.
Nestled in England’s scenic Thames Valley at the juncture of two rivers, Reading is a lively town with close proximity to Oxford and London. A flourishing hamlet from medieval times on, the town saw increased growth after the advent of the Great Western Railway and the founding of the prestigious University of Reading in 1892.
Reading’s town center is dominated by the picturesque ruins of Reading Abbey, a monastery founded by Henry I that thrived throughout the medieval era. Existing side-by-side with its charming town hall and city center is a more modern reputation for arts festivals. Music fans flock to the Reading Music Festival every year, and the town also plays host to a very popular – and hoppy – beer festival.
The shopping in Reading is nothing to sniff at, either, so come prepared to experience one of the U.K.’s top retail destinations. With quirky little shops to suit all tastes and large, attractive shopping centers such as The Oracle and Broad Street Mall at your disposal, the perfect souvenir is just around the corner.
Blow off some steam at a Reading Football Club match – the local soccer team is sure to bring out enthusiastic crowds.
As a major hub for the British train system, Reading Station has connections
to many other British cities, including London’s Paddington and Waterloo stations.
Find your way to one of our Reading hotels, and you’ll see why we have a reputation for fantastic service and top-notch convenience. Our wide range of budget-friendly options means that you can enjoy all the amenities you expect, at a price you can afford.

Excellent service as usual

As always, Holiday Inn was a pleasure to stay in. Comfortable facilities, helpful, friendly staff and great food all for excellent value. [Less]
Great staff
By Mrdrayson
Nice pleasant stay for business. The facilities are good and the staff very attentive. The room was clean and in good condition, the leisure facilities were adequate for the sizeof hotel, it was [More] all you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Only minor negative was that the hotel had several large groups in on the night of my stay and despite going for breakfast early the choice was somewhat limited as they had been cleaned out by the groups, despite this I would highly recommend a stay here. Handy for the airport
By *Adrian*
Had an early flight at Heathrow so decided to stay here. easyish to find, just tricky with the bus lane plenty of parking, friendly at reception and given an upgrade. Food in the bar came [More] quite quickly and was pretty good for a bar menu. cant comment on breakfast as I left at 4.45 but was offered a breakfast box when I checked in (decided to eat at the airport) All in all would use this hotel again when flying early [Less]

Surely the best for Heathrow. Convenient for airport, comfortable rooms, good parking and a great breakfast. All at the right price. [Less]
Clean, comfortable but paying for parking?
By DaveC1975
The room was clean and comfortable with some airplane noise which did not distract us while trying to sleep. The car park was not great, and the bays are quite small, paying for parking is [More] something that should really be included in the price or cheaper than the £8 it costs. Breakfast was nice and good quality. Overall it satisfied our needs as it is short jaunt to Lego Land and I would recommend the hotel for this purpose. [Less]

Excellent staff
By neilmcpl
Excellent staff and comfortable rooms. Room doors bang shut and these can wake guests up in the middle of the night as people arrive and depart their rooms - soft door closers required. Car parking [More] is excellent. [Less]
