With the city center and train station within walking distance, as well as close access to London Heathrow Airport and the Thames Valley business parks, our Reading hotels are sure to meet your needs, no matter what your reason for heading our way.
Nestled in England’s scenic Thames Valley at the juncture of two rivers, Reading is a lively town with close proximity to Oxford and London. A flourishing hamlet from medieval times on, the town saw increased growth after the advent of the Great Western Railway and the founding of the prestigious University of Reading in 1892.
Reading’s town center is dominated by the picturesque ruins of Reading Abbey, a monastery founded by Henry I that thrived throughout the medieval era. Existing side-by-side with its charming town hall and city center is a more modern reputation for arts festivals. Music fans flock to the Reading Music Festival every year, and the town also plays host to a very popular – and hoppy – beer festival.
The shopping in Reading is nothing to sniff at, either, so come prepared to experience one of the U.K.’s top retail destinations. With quirky little shops to suit all tastes and large, attractive shopping centers such as The Oracle and Broad Street Mall at your disposal, the perfect souvenir is just around the corner.
Blow off some steam at a Reading Football Club match – the local soccer team is sure to bring out enthusiastic crowds.
As a major hub for the British train system, Reading Station has connections
to many other British cities, including London’s Paddington and Waterloo stations.
Find your way to one of our Reading hotels, and you’ll see why we have a reputation for fantastic service and top-notch convenience. Our wide range of budget-friendly options means that you can enjoy all the amenities you expect, at a price you can afford.

We stayed at this hotel because of it's close location to Windsor. Our room was clean, bright and warm. The all you can eat Breakfast buffet was great, lots of choice. Lots of available car parking [More] spaces whenever we returned to the hotel which made the whole stay very stress free! We would have no hesitation in returing to this hotel. [Less]
Clean modern hotel with comfy bed
By Bev1960
Half an hour walk into Windsor. Didn't eat at all at the hotel so can't comment on breakfast or dinner. Our bedroom was modern, clean and the bed very comfortable with clean white sheets and quilt. [More] The bathroom looked fairly new with a walk-in shower - shower gel and hand wash being provided and white towels. We did hear some traffic noise early in the morning (maybe double glazing would rectify this). The receptionists were very friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend this hotel. [Less]
