Featured New Orleans Hotels

New Orleans is a world unto itself, where delicious food, Mardi Gras revelry and inimitable music are all part of the city’s traditions and character. It’s difficult to avoid falling for its lovely European architecture, and the city’s sights and sounds mingle to create a powerful experience no vacationer is likely to forget. New Orleans’ subtropical climate means you can expect fairly warm weather, and remember that summer is the city's wettest season, so pack an umbrella.

Things to See

This eclectic Southern city will undoubtedly satisfy your taste buds with delicious Cajun and Creole cuisine, but it will also delight your other senses. If you're craving a party, you won’t have to wait until Mardi Gras to visit. You can wander down Bourbon Street any day of the week to take in New Orleans' outstanding nightlife. Mellow out with the blues at Funky Pirate, ride the mechanical bull at Bourbon Cowboy or put on a karaoke show at Cat's Meow. If you still want more of New Orleans' music scene, head over to Frenchmen Street to hear authentic local jazz at landmarks like Snug Harbor. New Orleans has more than just nightclubs to keep you enthralled. Jackson Square, located in the French Quarter, is a necessary stop for history buffs. Gaze at the Cabildo, the building where the Louisiana Purchase changed the nation forever, and admire the St. Louis Cathedral before meandering through the Presbytère’s Mardi Gras exhibit. If you’re traveling with children, City Park has hundreds of acres of open green space. Storyland and Carousel Gardens Amusement Park are sure to please the youngest members of your group.

If you're all about exploring and don't mind if your hotel doesn't offer a lot of luxurious details, we have a variety of clean, simple and inviting hotels. On the other hand, there are plenty options if you want to indulge; some of our hotels offer stellar views of the river, while others put you right in the heart of the action. Where to Stay

New Orleans' famous French Quarter offers much to visitors, and staying in the area puts you within walking distance of top attractions, which is a bonus since parking in the neighborhood can be tricky. If you want more serene surroundings, Marigny is a quiet residential neighborhood near the French Quarter with plenty of things to do. Mid-City is another low-key area with lovely green spaces and easy access to downtown. You might also want to look beyond New Orleans' borders for a place to stay. Some nearby hotels might offer lower rates, and if you're renting a car, you can still experience the city's charm with ease.

How to Get To New Orleans

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is 13 miles from downtown. Some hotels in Louisiana offer shuttle service, so remember to check before you book. You can easily rent a car at the airport or take public transit to the city center.

I would recommend this hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating; however, I was not informed of the $30/day parking fee to park my own car when I called to make the reservation nor about the [More] parking fee for guests. The two vending machines both are my money. These were small issues but were a small inconvenience. My biggest issue was the fact that I was quoted a rate over the phone but when my confirmation was sent to me the rates were much higher. I would recommend this hotel though because my overall stay was great and the staff was very helpful. [Less]

The staff was the best part of the hotel. The lobby is a bit small, but the room was great! I would definitely stay here again! [Less]

This Hotel Is Wonderful!
By CubbieNate
We checked in on Feb 14 and were greeted by a very friendly front desk staff and they upgraded my room. Took a quick shower and noticed the shower was not draining well, no big deal, we went to grab [More] a beer and found out there was a manager reception! Told the front desk about the shower and it literary fixed in 10 minutes and they left a note on my door (that was a nice touch). During the reception we met our friend Ms. Theresa and she is absolutely wonderful! One of the mangers was even walking around to great everyone. Not a bad start after only being at the hotel for 2 hours! A few nights later it was raining so we just stayed and grabbed dinner at the Round House Restaurant. Our server Mohammad was great! He was very quick to make sure we had what we needed and a lot of fun. Breakfast the next morning he also somehow remembered all of our names. I wish I would have taken the time to write down a few of the other names of staff that helped us out during the stay but I must say everyone was great to deal with. You have a wonderful hotel, great staff and the rooms and public spaces were very clean and up to date. I will use your hotel anytime I am in town from here on out. Thank you again and I hope you take time to tell your staff what a wonderful job they are doing. I stay with IHG 75+ nights a year and your hotel was in the top for service of any I have stayed at. One last note, the GM has his personal cell phone number posted on a note in the elevator if you have any issues it says call or text, they go the extra mile. [Less]
