The hotel and its staff was exceptional throughout the whole stay. We booked into the 70s disco night at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us.
The food was exceptional...dinner
was a three course meal, starter (carrot soup) was nice and thick and hot, main meal (roast beef) was just fantastic REAL juicy slices of beef, and to finish the dessert was a chocolate cake.
If I was to pick one staff member for extra praise it would be Hope in the restaurant, she was funny and courteous during the evening meal and also served us during our breakfast the following morning, again with a pleasant smile and attitude. As a fellow hospitality manager it was refreshing to see how well the staff are trained in customer service, something that lacks at other hotels.
The ease of parking was good, a well lit car park at night. The distance to the main town (Warrington) was only 15 mins by bus, which you can get right outside the hotel.
The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, they also met our request for extra pillows. The housekeeping staff also need some praise, as we requested, toothbrush and razor blade @12am which seemed no problem at all for them to accommodate our needs.
Good Job Holiday Inn, keep up the good work!!! [Less]
