enjoy stay at a lower cost, compare to other intercontinental hotel.
The location is good for travelling, just beside airport and trainstation.
The smell ofdecoration did annoy me, hoefully it[More] can be improved[Less]
Brand new hotel with a little smell after decorations, but glad to have really nice staff and good service.[Less]
Entertaining visitors from out of town.

This Intercontinental Hotel (@ NECC) is very new, having opened only a few months ago. It was a tremendous value as its location is somewhat isolated at the end of one of Shanghai's main Metro lines.[More] The entire area is in the midst of a construction boom and can be difficult to navigate. There is very little signage in English and it was quite challenging to find the hotel (which is built into a massive Expo Center).
However, after entering you are treated to the same excellent service and quality you find at other IHC hotels at a fraction of the usual cost. During our visit we hosted family from outside of China. The location (near Honquio Airport) was perfect for our needs (Aside from the aforementioned issues).[Less]
Value for money, comfortable bed and great service

Always trusted Holiday Inn Express to provide a consistence service.[Less]
Water Tap Flow
Please install a water flow limiting device on the faucet.
The water flows too much, but the water pressure level of the so called " pressure shower" as advertised was not[More] adequate.
Hope the water flow is channeled differently next time
Great Value for Money
Except for a few occasions by a particular staff member, all of them were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast room was large hence we could always find a place to sit and eat.[Less]
Lovely hotel outside downtown - beautiful golf course
Stayed for 4 nights. Beautiful grounds but far from downtown Shanghai or the airport (over 1 hour). Joey at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast (additional charge) was plentiful and both[More] western and Chinese. Nice appointed rooms and several services.[Less]
Nice property and excellent customer service
Customer service was excellent and the property is very nice.
The only thing I would suggest is to add more shuttle runs to the train station, as the hotel is located in a very remote area with not[More] much to do besides playing golf.[Less]
Great view of the golf course.
Excellent bathroom. I would stay here again.[Less]
