Great western home away from home
By Allexx46
I spent a week in Shanghai on business. I worked hard and really appreciated this safe and comfortable space to come home to. Food was great and service very personable. Was able to have several [More] dinner meetings in the various restaurants in the hotel. All guests were satisfied. They provide a shuttle to the convention center freeing me from the nasty experience of having to find a taxi in a crowd. Used Uber to bringing guests and visiting business locations which worked great. I will stay there again! [Less]
Average Stay but pleasant
The hotel does everything you require but without any excitement or innovation. It does seem quite expensive for this level of hotel but probably more to do with the area. [Less]

WOW, just WOW!
By Jeff and Paula
I can not even begin to say enough positive about my stay at this property. The property, itself, is beautiful, but that is nothing in comparison to the quality and graciousness of the staff. Sunny [More] and King treated me like nothing less than royalty! They were extremely helpful, kind and professional! Anna and Doris in the executive lounge could not have been any more incredible. My initial check-in with Aaron, was excellent! I was going to move to a different hotel, more convenient to downtown, but the incredible service and personality of this staff changed my mind and I am very happy that I chose to stay in Jinxui. If and when I come back to Shanghai, I will definitely look forward to staying here again. The entire staff is to be highly commended and sets a shining example for how customers should be treated! I also greatly appreciated the upgraded room! Xie Xie!! [Less]
Great location and comfort

Love staying at this hotel. Always find your staff friendly and helpful. Only issue is I have is I cannot pay by credit card when booking the hotel and only at checkout. Other holiday inn hotel with [More] the loyalty program allow me to do that. [Less]

for a european who undarstands english, german and russian only
The hotel is near a lake and the atmosphere there is very well. The most stuff at the reception understands english good enoth and where very friendly to me, what is very important for me, because I [More] doesn't understand any chinese. The rooms in 3th flor are big enougth and i felt prety confortable. In my first room at the north side of the building it was very cold when I came there, it was 10°C only. I turned on the heater and it got only about 20°C after some hours. On the next day it gets about 22°C but somehow it was still cold in the room, because (maybe the isolation of the building is not very good) I requested to get a new room and I got an other room on the south side of the building. There it was 15°C when I first got there. The heater worked much better there, and reached about 25°C. The isolation is also not so good there, but at this side I doesnt feel so cold anymore. An other not so good thing is, that the Internet is very slow, but that problem a lot of hotels in China have. But this is also a reasom for me to change the hotel, because there are other hotels where I had about 100kb/s downloadspeed which is nasseserry for me. Please do something at this point!! [Less]
Lovely hotel outside downtown - beautiful golf course
By gck2016
Stayed for 4 nights. Beautiful grounds but far from downtown Shanghai or the airport (over 1 hour). Joey at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast (additional charge) was plentiful and both [More] western and Chinese. Nice appointed rooms and several services. [Less]
