Nice Hotel with Minor Issues
By TexasNolan
Enjoyed staying at this HI Express. Beds were comfortable and AC worked great. Internet was good. Sink stopper was broken and I did not have time to call maintenance. Coffee station was out of [More] regular cups and was using the smaller individual wrapped room cups. Location is next to a good restaurant and movie theater. [Less]

All went well during our stay. I was expecting a refrigerator and microwave in the room, but I guess I didn't check the amenities on the room. [Less]

I actually came to San Antonio to visit a friend and had the added bonus of celebrating Fiesta while I was there too. The room was a king standard room. Pros: -location is fantastic (we walked [More] about 1-2 min to the riverwalk, 20 min south to the art district and had uber take us back which was only $4, and the Alamo is directly across the street) -Franco (the super courteous driver of the hotel) drove us and picked us up from the Tower of Americas one night as well. -the bed was extremely comfortable -they have two bottled waters and a snickers bar waiting for you when you check into the room (unheard of in Atlanta) -all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful -our room even had a view of the Fiesta Flambeau Parade. Amazing! -the 1909 Bistro had a really friendly bartender and the breakfast was very tasty the one morning that we ate there Cons: -as others have said, the air conditioning works well, but is on the louder side. Definitely bring some earplugs and you won't be bothered. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this location to friends, family and everyone. [Less]

Great boutique hotel located right across from the Alamo.Staff is extremely friendly and always very helpful. Use the valet service since parking can be a problem. Room was a combination of modern [More] with touch of the original historic office building location. Marble and old wood floors combined with bright colors and modern touches. Great experience. Highly recommend. [Less]
