Great Experience

Rooms are comfortable and all furniture is new or very well taken care of. The property is clean and the staff is welcoming, including the shuttle service. Steve, our shuttle driver, was very helpful [More] and friendly; provided us with prompt pick-up and drop-off service. [Less]

Lots of construction. Otherwise pretty good.

Older hotel getting renovation as we speak. It affects the quality of stay, unfortunately, but it appears the whole point is to make it much better. Its hard to fault them for that. [Less]

We stayed at this hotel after a day at Sea World. There was apparently a family reunion going on and they kind of took over the building. Folks were hanging out at the pool past 10PM laughing and [More] drinking, but we were able to block the noise with our sound machine. The next morning, the breakfast staff seemed unable to keep up with the demand placed upon them. Granted, I watched a number of guests take large quantities of food and leave the breakfast area with it, so the staff was definitely at a disadvantage in this situation. My feeling is that they were just overwhelmed. Unfortunately for us, that meant very little choice when it came to breakfast. The rooms was clean and comfortable, but the ice machines were both empty and our bathroom walls and floor looked like they were suffering from misuse and water damage. This definitely wasn't the normal HIE experience. [Less]
Great Staff

After driving for almost 4 hours I pulled in and was immediately greeted by valet service. They were attentive and quick to take care of my car. From the time I walked into hotel to check in and [More] get to my room was maybe 10 minutes. They answered all of my questions and added some points about the amenities. A great stay! [Less]
Great location / very clean

I was very pleased with the tiled floors in the hotel rooms and how clean and new it felt. The location is great! You can walk out the backdoor right to the river walk. If you turn left you are [More] at the beginning of the shops and restaurants. If you turn right it is a more quiet, residential area and perfect for running as it's not heavily trafficked and very quiet and peaceful. This running route was recommended to me by the very friendly front desk staff. [Less]
