Featured Reading Hotels

With the city center and train station within walking distance, as well as close access to London Heathrow Airport and the Thames Valley business parks, our Reading hotels are sure to meet your needs, no matter what your reason for heading our way.
Nestled in England’s scenic Thames Valley at the juncture of two rivers, Reading is a lively town with close proximity to Oxford and London. A flourishing hamlet from medieval times on, the town saw increased growth after the advent of the Great Western Railway and the founding of the prestigious University of Reading in 1892.
Reading’s town center is dominated by the picturesque ruins of Reading Abbey, a monastery founded by Henry I that thrived throughout the medieval era. Existing side-by-side with its charming town hall and city center is a more modern reputation for arts festivals. Music fans flock to the Reading Music Festival every year, and the town also plays host to a very popular – and hoppy – beer festival.
The shopping in Reading is nothing to sniff at, either, so come prepared to experience one of the U.K.’s top retail destinations. With quirky little shops to suit all tastes and large, attractive shopping centers such as The Oracle and Broad Street Mall at your disposal, the perfect souvenir is just around the corner.
Blow off some steam at a Reading Football Club match – the local soccer team is sure to bring out enthusiastic crowds.
As a major hub for the British train system, Reading Station has connections
to many other British cities, including London’s Paddington and Waterloo stations.
Find your way to one of our Reading hotels, and you’ll see why we have a reputation for fantastic service and top-notch convenience. Our wide range of budget-friendly options means that you can enjoy all the amenities you expect, at a price you can afford.

Great breakfast but limited dinner options with a big focus on Indian food. A better balance at dinner would be good. [Less]

Great service
By Simon314
Had some spa treatments booked so my partner and I decided to stay over to make a weekend of it and the overall experience was great. The hotel is in the middle of a business park so unless you're [More] willing to drive or get a taxi don't expect there to be much outside of the hotel to do or see in the local vicinity. Staff in the hotel were welcoming, friendly and polite without being overbearing. In particular the table service in the bar area was fantastic. The hotel was modern and clean and I particularly like the fact there was a small fridge in the room for your own items. Afternoon tea was adequate - the sandwiches could have used more filling and the small cakes were hit and miss but the scones were freshly made (and still warm) and the champagne was of good quality. The only let down was only having freeview tv with no option to purchase on demand films. [Less]
