Featured Philadelphia Hotels

They call Philadelphia “The City of Brotherly Love,” and indeed there is plenty to love in this sizable city. It is the largest city in Pennsylvania and the fifth-largest in the U.S. With good information to plan your visit, Philly is a prime place for lots of unforgettable experiences.

Things to See

While sports are a good reason to visit Philly, the city offers plenty other fantastic things to do. Come hungry; Reading Terminal Market is one of the city's top dining attractions. There you can sample the best of Philly's cuisine, whether you are craving an irresistible sandwich or a undeniably decadent dessert.

American history buffs cherish Philadelphia’s rich heritage, which includes landmarks like Independence National Historical Park and the famous Liberty Bell. Stroll through Independence Hall and be sure to say you visited must-see Valley Forge National Historic Park. The Philadelphia Zoo’s 42 acres serve as home to more than 1,300 animals, and its award-winning exhibits will thrill your entire family. You’ll also want to make time to see Longwood Gardens’ impressive display of horticulture.

Science fanatics should not leave without exploring the Franklin Institute, which hosts a walk-through model of a heart, the Sports Challenge, a Changing Earth display and an IMAX theater.

Hotels in Philadelphia

Philadelphia hotels take in a range of guests; some are ideal for solo business travelers while others cater to families. The city isn't exactly a resort destination so you won't find an overabundance of luxury hotels in the city, however there are still numerous options for high tastes, such as the Crowne Plaza property, or more affordable accommodations at Holiday Inn or the cozy Candlewood Suites.

Where to Stay

Old City is a top choice for vacationers in Philadelphia. This is where you'll find the city's top historic attractions as well as numerous shopping and dining options. Plus, the area is easy to walk so you won't have to worry about finding parking. Nearby Society Hill is another solid option; it is quieter than Old City but still close to the city’s core.

How to Get to Philadelphia

Philadelphia International Airport serves the city and the surrounding Pennsylvania area. If your hotel does not provide a shuttle service from the airport, it's easy to hop on public transportation and get into the main part of the city.

Great location for our trip to a Phillies game. Staff and GM were excellent in providing information and recommendations and most importantly, resolving my mistake when I made the [More] reservation. Would stay again when in the area. [Less]

From the moment I checked in I had a great experience with the hotel. The staff was very friendly. And the restaurant staff was very friendly. The food was cooked perfect to my liking. Will [More] definitely return. [Less]

Pleasant and helpful staff

The kids and I really enjoyed the heated pool. It was a shame the hot tub was out of order. One of our key cards did not work. The receptionist reset it once and it still failed to work. Since we [More] were only staying for one night, we just let it go. Our only other complaint was the buzzing noise from the refrigerator. We had to muffle the sound with some towels. Aside from the above mentioned issues, we were pretty content with our stay at this hotel. Check in and check out was quick and easy. If we are ever in the area, we would give it another shot. [Less]
Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our stay as we were there for a visit to Sesame Place. The front desk greeted us very politely and efficiently. My daughter was excited to receive a new toothbrush and the information [More] provided was helpful for our Sesame Place visit. The hotel is being renovated so there are some cosmetic issues that are being addressed as part of that process. [Less]

I really enjoyed the restaurant/Bar Lounge service at the Bucks County Crowne Plaza. She was very attentive and inviting. I really appreciated her service. My kid also had a blast in the pool. They [More] do need a life guard though. [Less]
Good location near the center of town

We wanted tp visit Philadelphia Museum of Art , go to our favorite Bistrot that evening, and go for our Global Entry interview the next morning. This hotel is ideally situated for local [More] transportation - there are buses to and from the museum and the restaurant we planned to eat at, and from the nearby Jefferson Septa Station there are trains every half hour to the airport.
