Featured Boston Hotels

Old-world charm meets modern energy in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Here in one of America’s most historic cities you’ll find attractions of all sorts, from sites along the Freedom Trail to the excitement of Fenway Park. With IHG’s wide-ranging Boston hotel options, you can choose the perfect place to begin exploring all the city has to offer, whether that’s the city center or the quiet pockets of Boston's outlying neighborhoods..

Things to See

Begin with a walk along Boston’s 2.5-mile Freedom Trail, which winds through the city and marks 16 key historic sites, including The Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, and King's Chapel Burying Ground. Pivot from the past to the present with a stop at the cutting-edge Institute of Contemporary Art, located on the Boston waterfront in the city’s buzzing Fort Point Channel neighborhood. Or, on the other side of town on Boston’s lush and scenic Fens parkway, you can see for yourself why the Museum of Fine Arts’ enormous and diverse collection is one of America's most impressive. Even non-sports-enthusiasts are known to find themselves cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. And if you need a moment to catch your breath, you can always paddle a swan boat on the pond in the Boston Public Garden.

Hotels in Boston

IHG’s highly acclaimed Boston hotels appeal to a wide range of travelers and visitors. With enhanced guest experiences, and new or renovated amenities that include great restaurants, bars, spas, fitness centers and more, our hotels remain remarkable as new hotels, major brands as well as boutique hotels and hostels, arrive every year.

Where to Stay

Downtown Boston is the perfect choice for travelers who want a hotel in Boston that’s located in the middle of the action. The area’s many highlights are located within walking distance of most hotels, from historic Beacon Hill with its variety of antique shops to upscale Back Bay with its many shops and restaurants. And the Fenway neighborhood is definitely ideal if your Boston visit was motivated by the city’s great sports history and culture.

How to Get to Boston

Boston Logan International Airport, located 10 minutes from the city center by ground transportation, serves travelers from across the United States and the world. Free Massport shuttles ferry passengers between airport terminals and the airport station, where they can catch the T, Boston’s subway, into the downtown area or its surrounding neighborhoods. While public transport is the most economical option, you may also prefer to catch a cab from the airport to their hotel.

Rental cars are readily available throughout Boston, yet taking on the narrow, one-way streets can be a daunting proposition for visiting guests, not to mention the high price of parking. You might find it easier and more convenient to stay close to the city’s center and navigate the area by foot. You’ll find taxi stands throughout the city, particularly outside large hotels. The T, Boston’s subway, train and trolley system, is also a great resource if you plan to stay or travel outside the downtown area.

Had stayed at this site late 80,s and had bad experience. Not Crowne Plaza property at that time and did not know what to expect in 2016. Surprised by the overall experience. Would definitely [More] consider staying again. [Less]

friendly staff helped us with information about public transportation to Fenway Park and information about local places to eat. [Less]
Great Service Here!
By jaydee6161
Front desk staff was exceptional from the moment we checked in. Very helpful in accommodating an early check in, changing our room when we realized we needed two beds instead of one and providing [More] information about Boston and public transportation guidance. In Room Dining could use some help. The staff was helpful and friendly but the food was mediocre at best. Tasted institutional and was not the least bit hot when we received it. [Less]
A lot going for it
By Dave91
Great internet. Nice room. Comfortable bed. Great staff. One note for all hotels. Could really use some more protein options for breakfast. Also, the elevator is very inconvenient for about [More] half the rooms. [Less]
Friendliest Hotel yet
By Denys68
Booked online and arrived quite late. Check in was quick and the front of desk staff helpful. Our room was quite a distance away from the main desk but was very clean, tidy and modern. The breakfast [More] area was quite a large area with more than enough tables. The staff were helpful and very quick at tidying up crumbs and spillages. Two members of staff inparticular were amazing. They were professional but fun and enjoyed bantering with each other. We knew nothing of the area and needed to get to Boston by train. Any questions were answered in depth and included tips and advice. My sister and I were so impressed we decided to stay another night. Great staff and a great hotel [Less]
Well laid out
By SWC-M
Located just off Rt24, but never noticed any traffic noise. Layout of hotel is good, and it's quiet. Usual excellent HI Express breakfast buffet. Rooms are fine, internet works. Staff, though [More] friendly and attentive, seem to have only an outline idea of what they're doing - I'm sure my bill has been wrong both times I've stayed here. Is something that's easily fixed though. [Less]
