Featured Boston Hotels

Old-world charm meets modern energy in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Here in one of America’s most historic cities you’ll find attractions of all sorts, from sites along the Freedom Trail to the excitement of Fenway Park. With IHG’s wide-ranging Boston hotel options, you can choose the perfect place to begin exploring all the city has to offer, whether that’s the city center or the quiet pockets of Boston's outlying neighborhoods..

Things to See

Begin with a walk along Boston’s 2.5-mile Freedom Trail, which winds through the city and marks 16 key historic sites, including The Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, and King's Chapel Burying Ground. Pivot from the past to the present with a stop at the cutting-edge Institute of Contemporary Art, located on the Boston waterfront in the city’s buzzing Fort Point Channel neighborhood. Or, on the other side of town on Boston’s lush and scenic Fens parkway, you can see for yourself why the Museum of Fine Arts’ enormous and diverse collection is one of America's most impressive. Even non-sports-enthusiasts are known to find themselves cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. And if you need a moment to catch your breath, you can always paddle a swan boat on the pond in the Boston Public Garden.

Hotels in Boston

IHG’s highly acclaimed Boston hotels appeal to a wide range of travelers and visitors. With enhanced guest experiences, and new or renovated amenities that include great restaurants, bars, spas, fitness centers and more, our hotels remain remarkable as new hotels, major brands as well as boutique hotels and hostels, arrive every year.

Where to Stay

Downtown Boston is the perfect choice for travelers who want a hotel in Boston that’s located in the middle of the action. The area’s many highlights are located within walking distance of most hotels, from historic Beacon Hill with its variety of antique shops to upscale Back Bay with its many shops and restaurants. And the Fenway neighborhood is definitely ideal if your Boston visit was motivated by the city’s great sports history and culture.

How to Get to Boston

Boston Logan International Airport, located 10 minutes from the city center by ground transportation, serves travelers from across the United States and the world. Free Massport shuttles ferry passengers between airport terminals and the airport station, where they can catch the T, Boston’s subway, into the downtown area or its surrounding neighborhoods. While public transport is the most economical option, you may also prefer to catch a cab from the airport to their hotel.

Rental cars are readily available throughout Boston, yet taking on the narrow, one-way streets can be a daunting proposition for visiting guests, not to mention the high price of parking. You might find it easier and more convenient to stay close to the city’s center and navigate the area by foot. You’ll find taxi stands throughout the city, particularly outside large hotels. The T, Boston’s subway, train and trolley system, is also a great resource if you plan to stay or travel outside the downtown area.

Great service and environment
By jeannien
The hotel was extremely clean with very attentive staff from beginning to end. I loved the bed, but the pillows were a little too firm, making sleep a bit difficult. The staff did best they could [More] considering the weather (a storm with } 12 inches of snow) -- hot breakfast wasn't available because of a late call-in but they did well with substitutions. The only bad thing I have to say is that there was a very conscientious plow driver that actually plowed me in rather than out!! [Less]
Good stay, love jacuzzi!
This was a great value. Wonderful Jacuzzi, nice bed, they offered breakfast although I didn't get up early enough to eat it. The only issues I had weren't that HBO came in horribly, and I was really [More] looking forward to one particular show. Also, I could hear the traffic outside, and there is some type of new policy that only allows certain hotel guests to check out late. [Less]
Good breakfast, some complaints.
By Lujack
The toilet was too close to the floor and the distance between the toilet seat and the water in the bowl was too small, causing my private parts to touch the water. This was uncomfortable and [More] unsanitary. The breakfast was good. The place was clean and convenient. Pleasant service. The television screen proportions were off, causing the images to stretch horizontally. All of this has been conveyed to the management in the past - to no avail. [Less]
Braintree

Friendly staff. Breakfast was very limited though. [Less]
Decent experience
By Rehtorb
The Lobby and Rooms and lighting felt a little out of date, and the electrical outlets in the room where bad, the outlets where in the lamp base but were loose. So when you put in a two-prong plug it [More] would basically fall out and not charge. Also behind the nightstand was a messy cluster of extension cords plugging everything in. But the important part of the Room was the bed, the sheets wee perfect and the mattress was very comfortable. [Less]
On the road again

Great location and friendly staff
By 2impossible
This hotel is located directly across the street from TD Garden and North Station. You can't get any more convenient than that. Staff were friendly and more than accommodating when our train was [More] cancelled the next morning and quickly got us back in another room for the night. I will stay there again the next time I visit Boston. [Less]
Great Location

The Staff is excellent and the location is great. Especially if you are going to an event at the TD Garden! [Less]
