You should note before booking this hotel that it is undergoing refurbishment which I was not aware of prior to booking. The room was great, as usual, but the restaurant/bar is a temporary facility [More] with limited menus and range of facilities - not what you would expect from Holiday Inn. The staff were excellent and were working hard under difficult conditions but the dining experience was not great. It would have been useful to know this before booking. [Less]

Large room and bathroom
By Furrbag
Good hotel in a great location for the shops and station. Upgrade to a bigger room was definitely worth it. Bed was huge. Breakfast excellent. Only one small point, we were asked if we would like the [More] bed to be changed to a twin as that is what we originally booked. This was not done but we were tired and it wasn't a big issue as bed was so big. [Less]
