Featured Leicester Hotels

We have two Leicester hotels: one in the city centre and another close to the King Power football stadium. The King Power stadium is home to Leicester City football club and if you're around on a match day, you might choose to buy a ticket and take advantage of the great atmosphere offered. If football's not your thing, however, you might prefer a visit to Welford Road Stadium where you can enjoy a game of rugby instead.

But there's more to Leicester than sport. There are more than half a dozen museums and art galleries, including Newarke Houses, Abbey Pumping Station and Jewry Wall and Archaeology Museum.

Leicester is also home to some beautiful landmarks. Ashby Castle and Belvoir Castle are impressive structures and well worth a visit and a walk around the grounds of both.

Shoppers are catered for in Leicester as well. Close to our most central Leicester hotel, you'll find the Highcross Shopping Centre. Even the keenest shopper might struggle to make it round the hundred plus shops. But if you need a break, the centre also has a number of bars and eateries and even a cinema if you can fit in a film.

It's not difficult to get to Leicester. It's easily accessible from the M1 motorway and the train station has direct services running to a number of UK towns and cities including London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Derby and Sheffield.

So take some time in Leicester and let us help you make the most of it. Book a stay in the city centre or slightly out of town at one of our two Leicester hotels.

Excellent room and great staff
By tubelass
The hotel looks inviting from the outside and the inside is very welcoming. The staff were friendly and efficient on checking in and gave me the information I asked for. The room we stayed in was [More] excellent, the size very good and the bathroom plenty big enough. The walk in shower brilliant to use. I put the air conditioning on and left it on all night as I like a cool room, it worked very well and I would have had a good nights sleep if it wasn`t for the sheet on the bed kept coming loose and rucking up so I kept waking up and having to straighten it out. The facilities were excellent, we had a look at the swimming pool and gym but unfortunately didn`t have the time to use them. A lady that we saw come out of the pool said that it was lovely and warm so would use it when I stay again. Will definitely be back!! [Less]
Friendly Staff

Comfortable hotel made great by the staff friendliness. Breakfast could be more varied (hot food) but otherwise faultless. [Less]
Disappointing bed
By Lucie M
The double bed was very soft and most uncomfortable which I was most disappointed with. we have not had this trouble before. the pillows were also not good as was the reading light by the side of [More] the bed. the arm of the light was really loose and so would not stay in position for reading. in fact the lighting in the room was poor. I couldn't sit on the settee to read as the lamp there was of no use at all. a stronger light there would have been perfect. everything else in the room was fine. [Less]
Room Stay
By Why need this
Expected holiday inn to provide shampoo/gel/moisturizer but nothing in the bathroom provided expect a soap dispenser. The show was plastic and felt as if it might collapse/break if you accidentally [More] lent on it [Less]
