Fantastic room, great staff, good buffet, but disappointing"hot" breakfast
Very nice hotel and will happily stay there again. First time at an Indigo and a nice fresh design.
Room was very nice, but there were too many light switches and it was confusing. My coworker
also had this problem - hard to figure out what controls what.
The black-out curtains did not overlap and it was a bit hard to get the room dark in the morning. Strangly enough, the privacy curtains overlapped, so why the blackout ones did not is a bit strange. Also a bit strange to have a full height window in the shower. Good for exhibitionists I guess (but there are blinds you can close)
Overall buffet breakfast was very nice. First morning ordered Pancakes off the menu (assuming that they would be made fresh, since you had to order them). They were cold and dried out. ended up leaving most of them. After the experience the first morning, on the second morning asked if the "Crispy" waffle was made fresh and was assured that they were and that it took 15 minutes because they had to be made. Out came soggy cold waffle that had clearly been sitting around for quite a while. So the buffet was very nice, but there was no reason to not have the hot items on the buffet if they were going to be made in advance. A do-it-yourself waffle iron (that many hotels have) would have been a better idea.
Also left my ID card in the restaurant and and was emailed by the staff that they found it- even before I had noticed that it was lost. Really good service on that side! [Less]

Great Hotel, we had an amazing experience in Shanghai, and the hotel room was lovely, it was the best room in our honey moon experience
