Featured Shanghai Hotels

From its soaring modern skyline to its lush gardens and palaces, Shanghai has long been a place of fascinating intersections. Both a historic epicenter of global trade and a city bisected into two distinct cores by the Huangpu River, our wide range of Shanghai hotels will help you experience these pleasing contradictions firsthand.
Get to know Shanghai’s dramatic skyline from the vertiginous observation deck of the Shanghai World Financial Center’s 100th floor. From there, hit the Riverside Promenade in the Bund District to begin to get a feel for the city and its lively mix of old and new. Here, the original trading houses and consulates of European nations line the riverfront. Located within the old walled city, the City God Temple is a large complex of roofs eaved in traditional Chinese style, with serene tea houses and pavilions that help you forget you are in one of the world’s largest cities. From there, stroll to the nearby Yuyuan Garden, a 16th century monument to tranquility that boasts the Exquisite Jade Rock, an impressive boulder that is rumored to have been salvaged from a shipwrecked shipment bound for the Chinese emperor.
Cross the river to Pudong, Shanghai’s center of modernity, and crane your neck to view the Oriental Pearl Tower, a true symbol of the city. Many are drawn by the pull of Nanjing Road’s buzzing neon streets, and you’ll see why once you witness the spectacle of boutiques, scrumptious traditional dining, and people watching for yourself. The Yuyuan Bazaar offers more
traditional Chinese shopping opportunities, and an ideal spot to try some piping hot dumplings. Learn more about the past and current history of the city while indulging in a glitzy night out at the one-of-a-kind Shanghai Circus World. During this spectacular show, scenes of Chinese history are brought to life through a mix of dance, acrobatics, and martial arts synchronized with a music and light show.

Pleasant stay
By Tang
Clean, quiet and very dark rooms for a good night sleep. The service is friendly and because I stay about 50 nights a year at this hotel, they remember what I drink at breakfast and the address for [More] the taxi. Sometimes the room smells like smoke but it's the fault of other guests so I open the big balcony door to let in some fresh air. The fitness room is small but has the equipment I need. Breakfast has a decent selection of food but the quality could be better. The area is nice but the hotel location is not good to visit Shanghai. Maybe in a year there is a subway line that will be more convenient. Overall I recommend this hotel if you must stay in this area. It's the best hotel around. [Less]
Great staff comfortable room
By eds99rg
My stay was 3 weeks. The room and staff were great. It was winter and the air conditioning was not available. At times the room was a little warm. The food was good but some of it did not meet my [More] personal preference. [Less]

Good place and comfortable room
By Kenny1973
The location is good, close to subway. The place is around with convenient stores. The hotel room is quite comfortable in general. The noise is low, and the night time is quiet. Sleeping is not [More] smooth. [Less]
for a european who undarstands english, german and russian only
By ARTUR_84
The hotel is near a lake and the atmosphere there is very well. The most stuff at the reception understands english good enoth and where very friendly to me, what is very important for me, because I [More] doesn't understand any chinese. The rooms in 3th flor are big enougth and i felt prety confortable. In my first room at the north side of the building it was very cold when I came there, it was 10°C only. I turned on the heater and it got only about 20°C after some hours. On the next day it gets about 22°C but somehow it was still cold in the room, because (maybe the isolation of the building is not very good) I requested to get a new room and I got an other room on the south side of the building. There it was 15°C when I first got there. The heater worked much better there, and reached about 25°C. The isolation is also not so good there, but at this side I doesnt feel so cold anymore. An other not so good thing is, that the Internet is very slow, but that problem a lot of hotels in China have. But this is also a reasom for me to change the hotel, because there are other hotels where I had about 100kb/s downloadspeed which is nasseserry for me. Please do something at this point!! [Less]
Lovely hotel outside downtown - beautiful golf course
By gck2016
Stayed for 4 nights. Beautiful grounds but far from downtown Shanghai or the airport (over 1 hour). Joey at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast (additional charge) was plentiful and both [More] western and Chinese. Nice appointed rooms and several services. [Less]
Nice property and excellent customer service
By Mannuy
Customer service was excellent and the property is very nice. The only thing I would suggest is to add more shuttle runs to the train station, as the hotel is located in a very remote area with not [More] much to do besides playing golf. [Less]
