Comfortable Bed and Great food
By Becky
This hotel if excellent. I can't ask for more. The staff candy and Lucia are super nice and attentive. The rooms are super clean and not to mention how comfortable the bed is. I slept like a baby. I [More] recommend this hotel 100%. [Less]
Nice property, comfortable stay
By slow tourist
We had a very comfortable one-night stay at this hotel. We were upgraded to a spacious one-bedroom suite as Platinum members Although the property is not very close to the airport (it did offer a [More] free shuttle however), we heard planes taking off and landing frequently. Since we were so exhausted from our flight, it didn't disturb our sleep and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good (lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, waffle-maker...) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. [Less]

Friendly staff and breakfast
By Traveling Retiree
When we arrived; the front desk was busy with another guest, however she acknowledged that she knew that we were there and while she was on hold on the phone tried to help us also. Suggested places [More] to eat within walking distance for lunch and made suggestions for dinner and gave pamphlets if we wanted to order in for dinner. Advised which place they liked certain foods better than others. Very friendly staff. We could not get elevator to work, needed key card to get to floors 4 - 6. kept trying, but elevator would not move, a houskeeping staff used her card for us to get to our rooms, I just didnt realize you had to pull the card out, i was leaving it in. Breakfast is usually always good at a IHG express. I love the pancake machine. The only problem we had was the gravy for the biscuits was empty when we arrived and it took over a 1/2 hr to get it replaced. All other foods were replaced quickly. But had plenty to fill us up. Love the rolls. The breakfast is what draws us to look for a Holiday Inn Express as a place to stay. [Less]
VERY GOOD PRE OR POST CRUISE HOTEL
By ready2cruze
This is an excellent, well managed Hotel that works perfectly for pre or post cruise guests. We stayed for two nights before a cruise and found the check in/out oricessm room cleanliness, public [More] area cleanliness, bathroom cleanliness, bathroom amenities, sleep quality, lack of noise problems, hotel staff courtesy and helpfulness, shuttle service, and HVAC operation were all excellent. There is a very good restaurant within easy walking distance for lunch or dinner. We felt very safe walking around the hotel in the evenings. The Cruise Port Shutlle service offered by the hotel for a very nominal fee (less than a taxi) is also excellent. We will definitely stay here again when we cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. [Less]
Poor internet connection
By Only1travel
Very poor internet connection dropped multiple time every 10 seconds [Less]
Great service
By Esanchez
Everything was perfect, nice pool area and restaurants. Service was great. Bed was really nice and clean [Less]
Spacious room and very large steak!
By Outright
I had the largest steak, 32 oz, I have ever seen, delicious. Comfortable room, lovely pillows. Only issues in the room is that I would have expected slippers and bath robe to have been provided [More] in my room type. The hot water seemed to go off around midnight. Great range of TV channels, but would have liked BBC America to have been available. [Less]
