American Girl Package
By Lalala!
Our stay at the InterContinental Doral was, in a single word, amazing. We were only there one night but it felt as though it was longer. From check-in to check-out we were treated like a member of [More] the family. We were in Miami to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a trip to the American Girl store. I decided to book a stay at the InterContinental Doral with the American Girl package. I figured that we might as well splurge and stay on the Club Level (a first for our family). I wasn’t sure what to expect on either count and was pleasantly surprised. Our room was lovely. My children in particular LOVED the bathroom’s barn door – and the super comfortable beds. The room was clean and really well decorated. The value in the AG package was superb. My daughter felt so special when she walked into our room and saw the bags and cookies so artfully arranged. The personal shopper experience at the store was also over-the-top. The bonus surprise “goodie bag” at the end of our shopping added to my daughter’s delight. As to the Club Level experience...WOW. Staying at this hotel really was a splurge for our family as we have traditionally just picked the cheapest hotel whenever traveling. I had no idea what to expect from Club Level and was hoping it would be worth the extra cost. It exceeded my expectations. We have never felt so spoiled and pampered. The service was top notch (especially Melissa). The food and beverages were excellent. The atmosphere created by the staff was so welcoming. Would we return? Absolutely – and we would stay on Club Level. This was a weekend that we will not soon forget. I am grateful for the staff’s attention to detail and excellence in service. [Less]

Comfortable beds and attentive service
By Scolpat
After spending a night at the airport due to yet another American Air flight cancellation, the staff where quick to provide comfort for my child and I upon hearing about our terrible experience with [More] AA. They stored our carry-on, guided us to the complementary breakfast, then offered the use of the pool side to relax while they worked to quickly prep a room for us. The hotel was full and they told me a room would be available at noon but to my delight they gave us a room at 11am. And they put a 'Do Not Disturb/ Quiet' door sign on our door! The beds were fantastically comfy! They also offered periodically to help with my needs and asked how we were doing. Attentive and sensitive! [Less]
Excellent value, perfect location
By mjk1979
This is the nicest and newest of several HIE options near MIA. Guest rooms are well designed and quiet, breakfast is well stocked, staff is friendly. You're right at the end of a runway and I feared [More] jet noise would be a problem, but I barely heard anything after 9pm. [Less]
