Deep Sleep
I arrived in San Antonio on 11-18-15 preparing for an early morning business appointment on 11-19-15. I checked in late and was greeted by a very courteous front desk employee. When I arrived in my [More] room, I found a king size bed bedroom flooded with soft lighting, plush pillows and fresh smelling linen. I quickly drifted off into a deep sleep and woke up refreshed with an awesome breakfast awaiting me. I am trying to watch my fat intake and was pleasantly surprised to find turkey sausage and very healthy looking eggs (not greasy). This hotel was a Blessing and prepared me for a long day at work. Great renovated hotel. Comfortable room and great service!
By Fisher99
Although this is not a new building, the hotel is very well done. I enjoyed the lounge area on the third floor as well as the wonderful breakfast! The staff made sure everything was perfect for my [More] stay. I look forward to staying here again. [Less]
Good Stay
By Martinzzz
The stay was overall ok. I found one roach. For an older place, i tend to find that normal. There was a massive leak one morning by the breakfast bar leaving people to kind of sit around in the [More] yellowish water and buckets. I just hope they address the ceiling soon as I am sure there will now be mold accumulation growing. [Less]
Convenient and comfortable

The only downside is the traffic noise outside. Otherwise, and very nice place to stay! [Less]

Great Location but Pricey
By Monin72
Hotel is in a perfect spot, right on the river walk. The rooms were pricey as compared to other hotels that I have stayed at in San Antonio. [Less]

As a native San Antonian, it was refreshing to be able to have a getaway at such an excellent location. I have been a guest at Holiday Inn properties since childhood. I must admit I did have another [More] "go to" franchise for a time,, but I am glad to be back home for the last few years. We opted for this location for rest and relaxation and anniversary time together. This location was perfect. Loved the River Walk access, and proximity to my favorite places on it. The location of the access is perfect, due to the limited traffic, yet close to either end of the Walk. My spouse loved the decor in the room. Clean lines, and no carpet.. Alex accommodated my special requests in the bar, as well as the breakfast chef for my omelet. Will definitely recommend to friends who visit our city for a reasonable, comfortable stay. [Less]
carefree weekend
By lighthse57
I was able to relax and enjoy the purpose of the say; show a relative around the river walk, Alamo and market street without worry about my vehicle, parking, safety. the hotel is within walking [More] distance to all the sites named above. very convenient. Hotel does offer all amenities you would expect from a top tier hotel. Had to pay the price but was worth spoiling myself for a change instead of making compromises that you regret later [Less]
