Have tried other hotels in the area and find myself back at the HI Express MEN. Great location, helpful staff and good, clean facilities. Would recommend.[Less]
Great hotel and location
Hotel was perfect, just in the Northern Quarter, near some good restaurants, the Arndale Centre and the National Football Museum. We will be staying again![Less]
Excellent hotel in city centre location. Rooms quiet and clean.
Breakfast good selection but very limited re hot buffet, as long as you don't expect a full English you'll be fine.[Less]
Another great stay
Still my favourite hotel in Liverpool and another enjoyable stay including really effective air conditioning in my room when it was 31 degrees outside!
Only slight grumble this stay is that[More] breakfast tables weren't being cleared and reset efficiently on both mornings so it was a struggle to find a clean one to use. This isn't the norm here in my experience so hopefully it was just down to a temporary staffing issue.[Less]
Comfortable beds, great location
Lovely hotel, spacious room and comfortable beds.
Great location for access to the sights of Liverpool, including Liverpool One shops, bars and restaurants and within about a 5/10min walk to[More] Albert Dock area.[Less]
Stayed overnight as went to see Cats at Liverpool Empire. Hotel has a great central location. The car park
is 5 mins away.
The rooms are well furnished and comfortable.[Less]
could not connect to WiFi...was told there were too many users. Otherwise the stay met expectations[Less]
GREAT LOCATION FOR AIRPORT
Good place to stay, it was our last night in the UK after three weeks holiday, My family loved our time in the UK we used Holiday Inn Express about 70% of our places to stay while on holiday and were[More] very happy with them.[Less]
Friendly staff. Home from home when away on business.
I have been staying at this hotel for several years now on a regular basis with my work. The staff always make me feel welcome and are the best asset.
The internet access is fantastic - free and[More] fast in all areas of the hotel and parking is close by and hassle free.
There's lovely pub across the road (The Romper) if you want a change of scene as the in-house menu is quite limited.
Because of no in-room air conditioning on warm nights (not many in UK), sleeping can be uncomfortable as the fan provided simply circulates the warm air.
Finally, the complimentary breakfast certainly sets you up for the day ahead.[Less]
