Featured Denver Hotels

Denver is a popular budget-travel destination offering a bit of everything for visitors. With scenic Rocky Mountain beauty, seven professional sports teams and vibrant culture, Colorado’s capital continues to be an extremely popular destination. If you're planning to visit Denver, IHG’s wide range of hotels will help you make the most of your trip.
Things to See
Denver offers a number of must-visit destinations and attractions. For families, the two biggest draws are the Denver Zoo, one of the largest in the U.S., and Denver's Downtown Aquarium, which features 17 acres of interactive marine exhibits. Catch live music acts and walk along the trails at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, which has 9,000 seats and has been called one of the best outdoor music venues in the world. Visitors should also visit Larimer Square, a historic neighborhood and hub for entertainment, nightlife, art and restaurants, to fully experience the culture and heartbeat of the city.
Hotels in Denver
Denver is an attractive vacation destination year-round, but certain seasons offer considerable savings. A majority of visitors venture to Denver in the summer, but the city’s warm seasonal weather brings higher hotel prices. You can avoid crowds and costly room rates by traveling in the spring or early autumn months, and even though Denver is popular for nearby Rocky Mountain skiing, winter months are also a budget-friendly time to visit.
Where to Stay
Families and business travelers may find downtown Denver convenient, since it includes many of Denver's major attractions like the Colorado Convention Center, Denver Art Museum
and Denver Botanical Gardens. The pedestrian-friendly LoDo (Lower Downtown) and Larimer Square area, home to the popular 16th Street Mall, is teeming with restaurants, art galleries and nightlife spots, and is known to many as Denver's trendiest spot. Since Denver hotels in these areas can be a bit pricey, budget-conscious travelers might consider staying in the Highlands area, which is home to a number of art galleries, authentic multicultural restaurants and live music venues.
Whether you're looking for outdoor adventure, world-class museums or vibrant nightlife, Denver is a wonderful, budget-friendly vacation destination. Book through IHG® to ensure top-quality hotel accommodations.
How to Get to Denver
Denver International Airport is one of the nation's largest and is typically voted as one of the best in North America. If you are driving, the city’s grid layout and manageable size make it easily navigable. Denver also has six light rail routes that stop at popular areas and destinations, such as the Theatre District, Parks Meadow Mall and Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Skiers staying in Denver also enjoy the convenience of daily shuttle services that run from the city to ski destinations like Vail, Keystone and Breckenridge.

The king-sized bed looked a bit disheveled upon our arrival, and the price doesn't really reflect the standards one might anticipate at that level. Room service would have been a plus. [Less]

Poor customer service
By MichelleMC
This is a clean, beautiful hotel with great truck parking, but we were upset and disappointed by the customer service we received at this location. I have never had this problem with any other [More] Holiday Inn Express. I have had better service and spend half the money that we paid to get treated the way we did. Our first night was great no problems, but we ended up having to stay another night because by husband became ill. After working all day we came back to the hotel and checked back in. We proceeded to listen to someone above our room jump around, run back and forth across the floor, and slam door for most of the evening. My husband finally called around 9pm and complained to the front desk. They said they would take care of it. After another hour of listening to the noise and inability to sleep, I called back and was basically told that there were children up there in that room and that there was nothing they could do about it. That the best they could do would be to move us to another room and that I needed to come up to the front desk if I wished to do so. In the process of getting dressed so we could go up to the front desk, the lady at the from desk told another "just to move them to 303, I don't know what else to do with them". She and my husband proceeded to have an argument back and forth in the front lobby, and ultimately made to feel like we were the problem and had to go back to our room after 10 pm at night and back up everything and move. I received no other calls from management to discuss problem that occurred. and no one really apologized for the inconvenience. [Less]
