unhappy in Key West

I am a PriorityClubRewards member with IHG and I booked a room in Key West for a short vacation for my wife and myself. When we arrived we had problems locating the hotel for there was no sign to show how to enter the registration area. We were placed in a room where a maintenace elevator went up and down the outside of the building all day long. Our room key expired every day, and we had to get a new key each day. Our room was supplied with a coffee pot and on our first day we had a packet of coffee. It was never replinshed during our stay.

We are sorry to hear of your displeasure during your stay with us! La Concha is the tallest building and a Landmark in Key West so it is unfortunate that you had a difficult time finding our Reception located at our driveway. The exterior elevator is part of our Spa work to keep the workers from using the guest elevators and only runs during the daytime when most guests are out and about in Key West. It has been removed as we are almost completed with the Spa. Card keys can often not work when put next to something magnetic such as a credit card. We hope you asked the Front desk or Housekeeper for more coffee during your stay as it is normal to be replaced daily. We hope to see you once again at La Concha to experience all of our new Amenities!!!
