Key West - Crowne Plaza Duvall St

Great location to be in the heart of Key West and within walking distance to everything. Always amazed at how quiet the hotel is inside considering it is on Duvall near some of the bars/restaurants.

Have stayed here twice now and will do it again.

Bathroom is a little small but very clean and comfortable.

Did not meet expectations - good location, but unfriendly staff

I recently redeemed IHG points for a stay at Crowne Plaza La Concha. For the price/amount of points, I expected more. I've traveled all over the country, and this staff on the whole was the least friendly group of people I've dealt with as a guest. The little things add up and a simple warm greeting can go a long way. When I arrived on Thursday, I pulled up and a middle aged gentleman working valet greeted me by standing by my car and staring at me. I told him I was checking in, he asked me my last name and if I need baggage assistance, that was all - not where I was visiting from, how my drive was, no welcome to the hotel. At the front desk, I was acknowledged as an IHG Platinum member, but denied any room upgrade. The room itself was comfortable, though the bathroom is oddly shaped with nowhere to hang my towels. Taking a shower resulted in puddles of water on the tile outside the shower, and I was unsure why (I definitely closed the shower door). Friday evening, I inquired about a late checkout, an advertised Platinum benefit. I was told I could be given 12:30, and after that I could call to see about a later checkout. Waiting until 12:30 to call really doesn't help when trying to make plans for the day. I decided to pack up and plan to leave the property at 12:30. At noon, I wanted to take a final shower before leaving, but for some reason the water was not working at the sink, toilet or shower. I would have brought this up, but at check out, I was not asked about my stay. I leave with the impression that the staff does not care about the guest experience.

My final thoughts:
Front desk - unfriendly
Room - comfortable, functional
Location - ideal for Duval Street, I enjoyed being able to walk everywhere
Valet/Bellmen - the young men are actually friendly and helpful

Despite the great location, I would try to stay somewhere else if I visited Key West again. Other hotel chains treat me better as a loyalty rewards traveler.

Worst hotel experience in years, if not ever....

Where to begin? Asked 3 times over a 5 hour period for sheets for the pull out bed, finally gave up on that request. There was an old stale potato chip in the pull out bed when we opened it...GROSS! The shampoo in the bathroom was empty....I had to go find a housekeeper to get a full bottle. The beds were amazingly uncomfortable....tossed and turned all night. The valet put our keys on a different room's hook and it took them forever to find, that is after they only brought up 70% of our luggage. How can you bring most suitcases out of the back seat and trunk and leave 2? The concierge forgot to tell us the hours of the tour bus that we paid for, so we pretty much lost an entire day due to that little lack of information! On the final night, there were a group of teens running up and down the hall around 1:30 in the morning....not necessarily the hotel's fault, but it was part of our wonderful stay! Asked for the hotel manager's contact info and it was written on a ripped piece of paper, so sloppy that it's impossible to read.
I could continue, but my keyboard is starting to smoke.....

L'albergo è situato nel centro di Key West nella famosa Duval Street e vanta un parcheggio abbastanza grande per chi dovesse arrivare in macchina. Tutto è raggiungibile a piedi.Le stanze sono confortevoli ,alcune eccezionali e il servizio è ottimo.
